  1. He doesn’t, but surely better for his career if he does.
  2. You can tell we’re finally doing well when we’re hoping the game’s played a day sooner.
  3. He did initially, then was waved back by their manager.
  4. Pinchitos in Royton have said they’ll have it on too.
  5. I must’ve missed Garner’s two goal assists. I want more from Norwood, but he did make an important contribution tonight.
  6. No better time to get our goal difference supercharged than Saturday, playing bottom of the league, minus 15 GD Ebbsfleet on’t telly.
  7. Ogle’s been a cracker of a signing. With my failing eyesight it’s like watching Neil Pointon in a mirror. Had to go for Big Mikey though. Two winning goals in two games in front of his dad deserves that alone.
  8. I’m in no way endorsing our recruitment since we dropped out of the EFL (coz some of it has been truly shocking), but don’t forget Lundstram syndrome. Crowd size and expectation levels are much higher for us than the likes of Halifax, Gateshead, Barnet, Wealdstone and even Rochdale.
  9. I wonder (coz I’m too lazy to check) what our defence / midfield players’ scoring records were like for other clubs? Better? Worse?
  10. But we didn’t get overrun. We murdered them for the first half hour or so, they got a bit more of the ball and we survived a decent shot from them pinging over the bar off a defender. Second half they came at us after an undoubted rocket from their manager, scored a set piece goal that we should have done better with, but I can’t remember them having too many clear cut chances after that. I think Hudson made a couple of decent stops all game. It’s a shame that Norwood went off at the hour mark, as he’d have made a better fist of the chances that fell to Fondop (who’ll be disappointed in himself for not putting at least one away). It was a warm day with drinks breaks, so you can’t expect to play at full pelt for the full 90 minutes. I went last season and the two performances were like night and day. I left the ground disappointed but not angry or deflated as I could see the obvious improvement.
  11. Genuine question, who would you say have been our successful, season-long loans since we hit non-league?
