  1. I suppose it would be simple maths if you can park at the hospital for £3 double in the official people may follow the price. Not saying its right but matchdays can be expensive especially for those paying on the day. £25 adult £6 parking £10 for a pie and a drink and a fiver per beer ... with just one beer its close to £50 pp in the national league
  2. I noticed that some teams had points adjustments .. which I thought was odd and no explination (D&R V Spurs 5-5 but Spurs got 2pts and D&R 1 ) . I went to the game .. it was cold but the match was ok ... Charlsey was great ans Stretton looked ok ... reserved on Garrick. Hobson is just typical and gives everyone something to throw in the clubs face but it was a decent run out and Suttom was really good at CB. Doro's first 5 mins was electrifying ... but as a defender Im not so sure. Will I go again ? probably not
  3. I know debate is healthy but sometimes I struggle to see what people want. Do we not all want to be winning games, Im fairly sure we just won four on the bounce 12 out of 12 playing what was put in front of us. As a team we more than deserved that victory we did to Ebbsfleet exactly what some teams did to us last season ... we totally dominated (sorry Steve) that game and looked comfortable. The penalty was their first effort on target, late in the game We came out and scored a great winning goal as a tean. We plated some good footbal, we mixed ot up a little played through midfield and also went direct. Ebbsfleet Keeper pulled off 2 great stops from Jez and Conlon and Khan was unlucky not to have two. We have players coming back from injury and a couple not firing on all cyliders yet. Id much rather we grow into the season being there or there abouts and accept that Woking wont be a one off, yet I feel some confidence growing in the team without the swagger. If they beleive, who are we to not go on that journey with them. As much as Khan wasnt MOM he wasnt rubbish either, as much as Kitching will be disappointed with the penalty he will be delighted with the goal. Ride along with it and you might just enjoy it.
  4. For me this is the test .....we need to trounce these like the others have
  5. I guess the question is can I watch ot on NLTV in the UK as its not a 3pm KO or do I need to go to the pub ? I dont have a VPN but I could be tempted
  6. I thought we were unlucky not be three up by half time. Seconf half I thought we were better but still the final ball aluded us. As for the Norwood debate when Garner replace him, Garner did something Norwood didnt and that was taking some defenrs with him. He did it three or four times in his breif time on the pitch. The referee failed both teams, like a lot of refs in this league when they see a crowd. The desicions were baffling and he didnt keep up with the play very well either. The one he did get right was to send Cooper back to the dressing room, other than that he was appalling, goal kicks at vertain corners, corners for goal kicks, two incorrect penalty desicions and then had the gall to book players to make himself look even more great. The challenge on Hudson was a red card all day what a fucking narcassist. My final thought goes to Hammond and Lundtram test the keeper, practise shooting from the 18 yard line ... even the supporters in shoes manage to hit the net (mostly) in the tyre challenge... hit the target and let Norwood sniff a rebound,
  7. Id keep Jez on the bench until 65 mins then unleash him on tired legs, Kitch defends a little better and looks to be hitting a little bit of form. If Gardner isnt fit I would team uo Khan with Conlon ( I know its not his natural position but he IMO woud do a better jobcarrying the ball than Dolan). I would love Fondop to start as he will be full on for this match in front of his family. Replace Lundstram with Nors then when Fondop completes his hatrick hall him off to a standing ovation so Garner gets 10 mins
  8. Not sure where to begin. Lets start with Hudson, pulls off world class saves and lets in some soft goals usually via mistakes. I have forgiven him for the wayward distribution because of the importance of his saves. Has he been studying the Magnus pre season video and picked up some terrible habits. He has been poor for the last few games in his positioning and handling. First two games Conlon was superb alongside Gardner in the defensive half of the pitch, the last few alongside Lundstram he has been shocking. Is it him or is he worried Lundtram will hide and covers for him. Charsley and Hammond ran and pressed like men possessed and the former chipping in with a goal or three. There were strings of play from Halifax last night (watched on NLTV) where the middle of the feild was empty of anyone in a white shirt, three or four times. They waltzed out of their own half with no challenge whatsoever. I really wanted Josh Lundstram to become the player he was at Altricham, he isnt going to, not here. Dan Gardner should never have seen a minute of the second half, he was atrocious and misplaced pass after pass. Dolan was ok ... but has fluffed his chances in front of goal. I was ok with Fondop coming back, he does give us options that other strikers dont, even he doesnt know what he is going to do next. As a starter and lone striker though he is as misscast as Steptoe as James Bond. I cant knock his effort or his attitude but he isnt a lone striker and never ever will be. If Khan was hoping to ressurect his stalling career here, he has set himself up to fail within 30 seconds. I agree that it was not a foul and we were in a good position .... (liner who gave us nowt) but he earned that red !!!!! The rest were either ok and did their jobs, apart from Monthe and Ogle who were outstanding.
  9. 12 points better off and a few plsces higher
  10. The press would be better with Hammond ... who against Braintree had a terrific game pressing alongside Charsley and also fprced the save that Mikey put in for no 3. He has the same engine Charsley seems to have in that he can run all day. Granted he is not the finished article but with Conlan and Gardener deeper we were more balanced. Gardener had a bad game on Monday and looked leggy (2 games in three days) Dolan looked promising when he came on. If we are waiting on T's to be crossed and I's to be dotted on Khan or if we need to get rid of Reid/Hogan/Kitching before we sign him or if there is a striker on his way from another club on loan, then it was a gamble that Mellon took and it looks to have paid off as we are a win from second. I thought we controlled the game fo 6 mins yesterday after gifting the Heed the first thirty.
  11. In a game of two halves at 45 mins Jes was MoM .. he ran that flank .... but he faded in the second half and was less involved. Monthe however had a solid first half and an excelent second half so gets my vote. Charsley was also excellent and Fondop had a solid game. From a Fylde perspective MoM was the ref ... he was brillinat for them Special Shithousery award goes to the Fylde goalkeeper who blatenetly punched Raglan in the face and went down about tem mins after holding his face
  12. Elior would not have been my choice for ground catering ... they have run our catering for years and if it wasnt for the people that work for them in the office it would be terrible. Pricing is something that can be overcome given time and contants of the agreement between club and Elior. To be fair though for the prove of a pie on Saturday I could get curry and rice and a sweet treat at work. The Dale chamts of no end product for Jes seem to be harsh, he took 20+ balls down from angled passes like it was second nature. Took his goal superbly well adn deserved his ovation when he was subbed. The referee gave nothing to us (Fondop in particular) unless he 'had' too, Braintree were one dimensional and we had it covered then the penalty that never was well saved by Hudson. Hammond shone for me getting the chances he got and creating spce for charsley. Improve his composure and he will mature into some player. Dan Gardeners ball to Jes for the goal .......wow. Caproce can cross a ball too ....... I kinda wish Fondop was still on when those crosses came in. On to Wealdstone, a game we should win with the same guile and craft shown on Saturday. Thats the test, when was the last time we gopt 6 points from the openeong two games ?
  13. Im in and registered but my name is my e mail address and not screen name ..... Help could you amend it?
