  1. If Sutton comes in for Hobson I’d be happy with that, however, If MM brings in a loan signing as cover it will be a good indicator as to where Sutton stands in this squad. He’ll be 22 at the end of this month and he needs to be playing regularly. If that’s not here then he needs to move out, on loan at least.
  2. If that’s true then he needs to play. The only way he plays is with a move….he needs to go!!
  3. You have to admit It was an overly negative and ill timed response which I’m sure made the minds up of a few ‘sat on the fencers’. I renewed myself but it really annoyed me at the time, especially after such a shocking end to the season. The picture he painted for the coming season certainly wouldn’t have encouraged any 1st time buyers!!
  4. Well they’ve got their moneys worth then haven’t they……crock!!!
  5. Just checked Dale & Walsall in Div 2 both are cheaper. They have different prices too, depending on the stand. They should do that at Latics…there’s no way you should pay the same price in the RRE as you do in the JR or main stand. We have a family stand but do we even do family tickets anymore. 2 adults with two or 3 youngsters is bloody expensive when after all you’re only watching non league football. £25 on the day is a total rip off and doesn’t encourage any ‘decide on the day’ fans to turn up! If there has to be this type of ticketing structure then £19 early bird & £21 on the day would be more like it!
  6. So we should abandon any plans to join a reserve league. There’s always 1/2 dozen players who are getting zero game time yet they are expected to come in at the drop of a hat and perform? Latics always used to have a ‘B’ team playing regularly. Can you imagine being at a football club and hardly ever playing? From the OASF meeting with Darren…. The whole Club board made the decision to join the competition, in consultation with Micky Mellon and his coaching team. Darren explained that, in the absence of a B team this season, which everyone overwhelmingly wanted, this is seen as a next best solution for a player development pathway and way of getting game time.
  7. What!!!! Are we talking about the same player Parkinson had been chasing for 7 years? He will pack it in at the end of the season…he’s stealing a living!
  8. The competition has MM’s backing…. He’s running the football side, if it’s good enough for him and he’s happy with it then why all the moaning?
