    I just think mentally and psychologically we’re fucked as a club. Fans groan at not being full throttle against bin men up and down the land, fine.. but these are just average division 5 lads. They panic, shit themselves and fuck up. Bring in another player from other amateur institutions such as Altrincham or Gateshead, they too will crumble. They’re not mentally fit to do it at Boundary Park. They can’t do it at Boundary Park.

    Just cold hard facts. We’re getting schooled by the mighty footballing institution that is Gateshead at home. They don’t have it in them. I don’t see much point in attending many more fixtures for this season.

    This team, at present, just do not have the mental resolve to stage a successful play-off campaign. They crumbled at BP to *Ebbsfleet United* after the home faithful started to get agitated. We would no doubt lose the game at BP before ever making it to Wembley. Mellon looks to be the right man to finally achieve something at this football club in the 21st century. Finish strongly and aim for the title next year methinks.

    I have literally wished you a merry christmas and now you’re being terribly unseasonal and rude. This is about the 5th time you’ve mentioned such luscious locks . You can always dye yours if you feel so inclined. Let it go, or we can have a pint. I support Oldham for a multitude of reasons but the fact we constantly redefine the definition of shit every Saturday actually makes me want to fall out of love with the sport all together.

    Just checked the score, lol. The club should fold and become a community complex really. Seriously, what is the point if you can’t give Micklrover Rovers, or whatever they’re bloody called, a go. Bring some money into the town and erase the curse of the club. We are perennial losers and will never achieve anything, ever, again.

    This is arguably the most humiliating result in the club's history. Sweeping it under the rug isn't the way to go about this. MM and his team need to figure out why our team crumble so easily when under the slightest bit of pressure.

    What an absolute waste of time and money then. Unsworth should have been removed from post no later than 30 minutes after the full-time whistle blew in Southend. You're right, though. The season is over and it's a damn shame.
