  1. Pepsi is nicer than Coke. Poleon was up for it and linked up well with midfield, but still needs work on that final ball. Green is a gob:censored:e but has obvious talent, just needs to stop trying to do it all by himself. Gunning is slow but hopefully will improve. Kelly and Jones are still the dog's. North Stand looks mint. Didn't have any food but the hotdogs look smaller and the coffee a better make.
  2. 10 squids. Main stand and RRE. Chaddy end for the other lot.
  3. S'alright Carlisle. Couple of pubs near the ground, old school stadium and some nice views from the away end. There's a lot worse places to watch football.
  4. I'm sure us in the Main Stand Paddock Chaddy-side will contribute towards the away fan banter (flicking the v's, telling them they have sexual intercourse with sheep, pretending they're not there when they score the 89th minute winner).
  5. Just subscribed for the first time. Looks alright, bit disappointed by the lack of subtitles for the Carl Winchester interviews, but you can't have everything.
  6. The new home shirt looks to have sold well already. Looks alright in the flesh, and I'm tempted by one. That Eintracht shirt is fit.
  7. Went to a Trafford game last season and everyone got a voucher at the turnstile for a free pint or glass of wine.
  8. I think everyone will agree the highlight was the linesman impersonator.
  9. You should have been in the queue for chips at half time. One numpty was telling a steward his club was a joke because he had to queue for food.
  10. When Darren Kelly applauded the fans at full time a bloke near me shouted ":censored: off ya IRA bastard!" Gonna be a fun season.
  11. Winchester and Croft impressed first half.
  12. Cliff Byrne retires from playing and takes new role at Sunderland as 'Professional Development Phase Coach'.
  13. Plus games verses Nottingham and Sheffield. I think I can get behind this. It's just Alty's arena that is the problem, and with the GM owning the Ice Dome (or whatever it's called now) you can't see them moving elsewhere any time soon. HOWEVER, it will be the smallest arena in the Elite League, especially when you take into consideration Sheffield, Notts, Belfast etc., and if he wants the team to be a success he'll surely have to look at increasing capacity or moving the team. I can't see Phoenix building their own arena, best case scenario, and one that would never happen, is that the two clubs share a purpose built arena somewhere.
  14. Do the interviews, match highlights etc. work on mobile? I don't use a laptop/desktop and don't want to fork out for the service if it won't work on't iPhone.
  15. Vintage Trouble looked half decent. Waterboys seemed good value also.
  16. Been there this morning. Didn't see any footballers but I did stand on a dog egg.
  17. Maybe the men in suites fancy a season going all-out for play-offs/promotion to coincide with the new stand, boosting attendances and potential business interests etc..? It's a hope anyway.
