    I think the only artists that really appeal to me are Motörhead, The Moody Blues and The Who and the Buzzcocks at a push. The floppy-haired Radio 1 friendly indie-kids really do nothing for me.

    SportsDirect are putting £1m into the club in a deal that involves one of their brands making the kits. Nike/Adidas kits look good, and last year's Sondico gear looked really poor (although the new kit looks a bit more promising), but I'm afraid it's SportDirect's hand that feeds us.

    Phoenix essentially have nothing to do with the old Storm, they're completely different clubs and therefore have no rights to the name. Spent a few seasons watching Phoenix but the atmosphere started to resemble a kids' party, and the rink lay-out isn't great for watching hockey. Plus I've watched live CHL and NHL games, so I'm a bit of a ice hockey hipster now.

    Jabo had is best game for us away at Sheffield United last season. A proper 'big target man' performance. Surely were going to offload another striker if we do bring one in.

    Both very good servants of the club, but not devastated to see them go. Both suffered too much with injuries, but Elokobi's enthusiasm was infectious and Lookwood was just what we needed at times.

    I think it's been a good year for the FA Cup, and it's benefited a lot from the coverage being back on the BBC (ITV's coverage was terrible), and the final being the final game of the season again. Here's hoping Latics have a better run next season.

    Wasn't too keen on the home design but I thought the Fila kits were of a very good quality.

    I didn't realise how unique to us Mouldy Old Dough was to us, I think we should use it. Don't like goal music, and I don't really like that friggin Carnaval de Paris we used pre game last season. Sounds a bit over the top for me.

    I don't mind the new badge, but I can't help think that the old one would finish this new strip off nicely.

    The club are doing teasers throughout the week on the website before the unveiling on Thursday. http://mobile.oldhamathletic.co.uk//news/article/201516-kit-teaser-2469602.aspx First pic looks a bit like the socks that were posted on the SportsDirect website. Hoping for blue with orange trim and vise-versa for the away.

    Latics XI to play away at Trafford FC on July 22, 7:45 kick off. Nice club Trafford, did some online commentary there last season and it's a good little set-up, beers on the terrace etc.
