    The handling of the Evans affair (so to speak) was appalling and showed the club up. The capitulation against MK Dons was embarrassing. However, the record against the bottom 6 has been so costly.

    Rochdale away; pre match beers in the Regal Moon was very interesting and taking the piss at the game was glorious. Fleetwood away; top boozer and a proper atmosphere at the game. Streets ringing with "everywhere we go". Poleon scoring twice in a game. Turner's second vs Rochdale.

    Wasn't going to read the article because I can't stand the guy, but he's largely right.

    Probably gonna stay in the Main Stand Paddock with my ST-holding mate, although we're thinking of checking out the North Stand for cup games. A pint or 5 should liven up JPT games.

    Not pleased about this, but I'll give it time. Seems like SC built himself up for a fall with all the talk of large applicant numbers and strong candidates. Let's hope he can get the best out of the likes of Murphy, Turner and other fringe players.

    Completely dominated MK Dons in front a fantastic crowd for a youth game. Latics were physical and got into the opponents faces (without being 'dirty' and giving away cheap fouls) and kept a high tempo throughout. A proper team performance and one to be proud of. Well done TP and team!!

    .. In the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division (the league FCUM won) play-off semi-final. Followed the NPL for about 10 years and it'd be great to see one of the Ashton's get promoted.

    Sadler looked to be organising everyone for a period in the second half. Showed some fight as well as Jones and Forte.

    I'd have him back, especially with the current state of the squad, his pace and width would give us something different, plus Wilkinson needs some better service from the flanks.

    Shocking program (can't believe they read out the Adam Johnson tweet), but I thought Corney came across very well. Financial situation is a bit more positive than I'd imagine, and it's good to hear of the interest in the managerial post.

    Gutted Tommy has gone. They've broke the news on Sky Sports News and Oldham weren't mentioned once. Barnsley clearly massive.

    GJ (new acronym time) has a great record. Could do a lot worse. Although, not sure LJ is going anywhere at this stage.

    I think he's more likely to go at the end of the season. See how far he can take us, then move on to a bigger club. Be that League 1 or lower end Championship. Can't see him at a top end Championship side yet.
