  1. Reckon it'll be.. Rachubka B. Wilson J. Wilson Dieng Elokobi Kelly Winchester Jones Philliskirk Poleon (replaced by AMS after 70 minutes) Forte I think we're really going to miss Millsy and his runs down the wing, can't see Elokobi or Mellor doing the same to a similar effect. Wouldn't mind seeing Jabo back, he had a couple of superb games for us and I'm not sure many of us think Poleon is ready to step into a full time starting position.
  2. 5 live just mentioned Simon Corney is ready to sell the club on their football news round-up. Making the news more than Boko Haram since 2015!
  3. Wonder if Salford Red Devils' office will be in touch..
  4. Gonna go for a pint in Fleetwood (my mate's driving, yes!!!!!), will try one of the ones recommended on the OP. The Queens Hotel sounds easy enough to find.
  5. We're going to miss Mills an awful lot. However, we have a couple of options, I'd have thought Elokobi will go at LB and Dieng at CB. Depends on how LJ rates Mellor. After a week of PR suicide, media circuses, woeful refereeing, three match bans and last minute equalisers.. I can't bloody wait til Fleetwood.
  6. Apologies if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but which sponsors have actually now left, and which have stuck with us after not signing Evans? I'd have thought the RRE sponsorship deal would be quite lucrative with its exposure to away fans tickets etc.
  7. Overall performance better. Ref appalling. Fans immense. Kelly is so damn important to this squad.
  8. I'm more pissed off with Gordon Taylor about stupid leaking that an unnamed League 1 side are signing Ched Evans last Sunday.
  9. What stake does the trust own as it stands?
  10. Over time, what did the Hughes signing take off the average attendance, 800, 1000? I reckon if we maintain a bottom half/mid-table position in the league the Evans signing would do similar.
  11. We'll sign Evans, we'll bank on him having his verdict overturned, sell him on and then be able to finish the stand.
  12. Whatever happens, the club is too important, and means too much to too many people to be ruined by a handful of people. I think you summed it up to a tee for myself and many others Opinions4U. Great post.
  13. Just spoke very honestly about the whole situation from an Oldham fan's perspective, how it's terrible seeing the club handle the situation so badly and how fans are having to make the difficult decision on wether to continue supporting the club or not. Came across very well, especially as a West Ham fan had just been on saying Oldham fans should hang their heads in shame.
  14. By the way, if the guy who was on Drive on Talk Sport this afternoon, Nathan, I think it was, you spoke very well pal.
  15. Nothing against the JC, but why go to them and not directly to the club's fans? It'll all get out eventually, but I can't imagine a great deal of us read this particular publication daily.
  16. First piece on BBC NW Tonight. Corney says they weren't surprised by the backlash and Barry seems to think talks are going to go on longer. Reporter said they've had fans walking past chanting "sign him up".
  17. Should imagine a lot of Doncaster fans will stay away, and those that do come will have a few opinions to air.
  18. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/ched-evans-to-oldham-athletic-family-will-pay-up-to-pave-the-way-for-deal-with-league-one-club-9961432.html Ched's girlfriend's Dad making up lost sponsorship money, as well as paying wages, and upto 75% of Oldham fans would welcome him. Riiiiiiiiight..
  19. My ST holding mate teaches at a primary school in Oldham. He's not relished having to explain the situation to a bunch of 7 to 11 year old Latics fans.
  20. A new sponsor for the Verlin Stand perhaps? That's secure some interesting away fan figures (eg. 0).
