I don't think it's unreasonable to be annoyed that you were lied to by the manufacturer and to want a unique shirt that at least reflects the identity of your club for £40. I also think that most understand that was wishful thinking with a company like SportsDirect, and I don't understand why that's mocked despite it being what we've sadly come to expect as the norm. It says something about the way fans are treated when it's seen as 'amusing' that a supporter would be unhappy about something as basic as having a fairly priced football shirt to wear with an ounce of pride...

I think Connor Brown will be the unfortunate one to miss out as he made the RB position his own at the end of last season.

 

Would think that'll be his best XI for the start of the season, and I agree regarding Connor Brown, however I reckon LJ has more trust in Brian Wilson, and won't want to bench I'm (unless he has a complete 'mare).

Don't always like Dayton on RW though, as he always has to cut-in on his left foot, and can be quite predictable for defenders.

One has to wonder what the delay in supply was all about as it's a bog standard Sondico yellow and black shirt.

 

The only difference being the addition of a club crest and S.D logo on the front for which we are charged an extra £26.

Yup, agree with all this.

People can agree/disagree/moan about the choice of colour until they're blue in the face, but you can't deny it's a bit naff that they've stuck a Latics badge on a bog standard shirt and want to charge us £40 for it.

But we've jumped in bed with the devil, and this is the price you have to pay sometimes. Not the end of the world, but we'll just have to grin and bare it I'm afraid.
