  1. RLJ Capital Global Fzc is listed as having significant control of Oldham Athletic (2004) Ltd., having taken over this control from Simon Corney on 24.01.18. The company is based in the United Arab Emirates. I presume this is AL's company? https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/04989487/filing-history
  2. For what it's worth Davies' tweets have also been 'retweeted' or 'liked' by - amongst others - Ollie Banks, Courtney Duffus, Tope Obadeyi, Paul Terry, Steve Cross, and Matt Chambers!

  5. Yes, it was a 5 year deal signed in the summer of 2014. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/oldham-athletic-pen-five-year-sports-7363271
  6. Very much like the 1981 - 1983 kit (above). All Latics kits can be seen here.
  7. . . . and how many Exeter fans will make the trip to BP 3 days before Christmas!
  8. Rhodes added: “I was here as a player in the great days with some really good people and I was fortunate to come back with Andy Ritchie and Iain Dowie as goalkeeping coach. The next progression in your life is to go the managerial side and fortunately Frank asked me to do that and I couldn’t wait to get here.” Does that mean Rhodes won't double up as goalkeeping coach, and that Carlo Nash may be staying?
  9. . . . and if he did have that sort of money he could afford to buy the BP land and the OEC off Blitz and Gazal.
  10. Is the above a fair and accurate summary of the North Stand and Latics? (** Edited to create bullet points)
  11. Tim Flowers? Was assistant manager at Coventry when Dowie was manager and Bunn was first team coach.
  12. Hopefully, FB will be allowed to bring in a couple of his own appointments as assistant manager and first team coach. As a novice manager Wellens talked about bringing in an experienced assistant. Given that FB is a very experienced coach / assistant manager, does that mean he should be looking to bring in a young coach with fresh ideas or a former colleague who he's worked with in the past? Or both? Any ideas or suggestions?
  13. Press conference around 3.30 pm according to Radio Manchester.
  14. I'm registered on ifollow, with an auto-renewal date of next month, but I get the following message when I try to sign in: "You don’t have access to this content. We’re getting packages ready for the new season, so come back in June 2018 and register for the new campaign."
  15. Hopefully, Frankie will be allowed to bring in a couple of his own backroom staff. At least we've got a new manager in quickly this time.
  16. Anyone know what Bunn's being doing since he left Huddersfield Town at the end of last year? https://www.htafc.com/news/2017/december/frankie-bunn-departs-huddersfield-town/
  17. Although Bunn has a lot of coaching experience, it's a little worrying why no club has offered him a manager's job. The closest he got was joint caretaker manager - with John Harbin - at Coventry City for about a week back in February 2008.
