  1. I love the way you call him 'Winny' despite having a ridiculous agenda against him.
  2. I think he proved on Saturday that he's some way of being a super star. He was awful for both goals.
  3. I don't mean to overestimate the current squad, but that's the main thing for me. Jones, Winchester, Dunn, Forte, Turner, Croft and Yeates, there's genuine attacking talent there. If we carry on with these negative tactics, holding players back, you'll always wonder what could have been this season.
  4. A team devoid of all confidence and without a manager, no doubt he'll still set up as if Barcelona have arrived at BP... I'd play: Coleman Brown Burn Wilson Mills Jones Yeates Winchester Dunn Stan Turner/Murphy
  5. 3 home games all the same and his insistence on playing one up front is enough for me.
  6. It isn't just the results though, it's a combination of that and the tactics/performances. If we're setting up negatively but grinding out wins, it's hard to complain. If we're playig positive, exciting football and losing to the better side, you can't complain at that either. We're not winning and awful to watch.
  7. Him staying was my worry when the appointment was made, he should be nowhere near a League One football team.
  8. Did anybody else sit there in the last 10 minutes and think, this is all we really ask for? I left Bury last week disappointed we didn't win, but I enjoyed the game and the chances we created. Performances like the majority of today are just soul destroying.
  9. I reckon they're desperate to get rid of Kelly, but would he be made the scapegoat while Holden keeps hold of his job?
  10. For me, Yeates was the positive from today. Every cross had quality, unfortunately they were aimed at nobody for the first 75 minutes.
  11. Dunn looked to be asking for a change of tactics after the goal. I reckon it would be built in to him to at least show some attacking intent.
  12. I'd cut our losses now, three home games all exactly the same, barely a shot on goal mustered. We'll be down to 3,000 if they don't act.
  13. Watching the way we ripped through them on the ground at home was probably the most satisfying performance last season. When we went to their place we really did just sink to their level. Important that Burn and Wilson play well.
  14. I actually wouldn't mind seeing us give 3 at the back a go, I just feel like we need Mills to play it. Truelove looks like our only other player that could possibly play LWB, but I haven't seen a lot of him admittedly. Coleman Wilson Burn O'Connell Croft Truelove Dieng Jones Dunn Forte Turner
  15. I think Saturday could be the day that debate is quashed once and for all.
  16. Chaddy End holds around 3 and a half thousand doesn't it?
  17. Coleman Brown Burn Wilson Mills Dieng Croft Jones Dunn Forte Murphy/Turner That would be my team, I remember we absolutely tore them to shreds with a similar style last year.
  18. I'd go back go back to the diamond at home. Coleman Brown Burn Wilson Mills Dieng Croft Jones Dunn Turner Forte
  19. How do we know he's got an atttidue? I've not seen any evidence of that... I'd like to believe something more has gone on, because if he's been made to train with the youth team just because he didn't want to leave, that's very wrong.
  20. Like I've already said, I don't remember one occasion we sold a player between August and January. Stephens and Furman were loaned out in February/March due to them being out of contract and the club being given a loan fee.
  21. Holden was always the worry for me, more so than Kelly. It seems like Kelly had absolutely no say in Holden staying as his assistant and the tactics so far have been eerily similar to the dross he served up at the end of the Season.
  22. I keep seeing people talk about loans out, I don't think I've ever seen us loan a key player out between the August and January window?
  23. Who, apart from Johnson, has led you to infer there is a fitness issue with Winchester? I watchd him run 40 yards to score the winner at Scunthorpe in the 85th minute last season...
