    I don't know anything about either but I'm past caring now. We were always going to appoint an uninspiring manager or somebody with little expeirnece. I just want to see somebody in with their own ideas now, Holden is just continuing with the old managers style.

    An Oldham fan on Twitter who works for the Express and Star, John Tompson, says interviews started last Thursday and an appointment is likely soon. Also said one of the names interviewed and in the 'final stage' is in the bookies frontrunners.

    Giving the job to Holden to the end of the season is a clear sign the board have given up on it. So why have they allowed him to bring a 30 year old from Rotherham in? If it's over get a youth player in or at least use one of our own players.

    I'm pretty convinced there is no new manager at this point. We're not going down, the season is over, why would SC bother? They let it slip on LP the other day when Gordon asked Holden about getting a new loan player.

    The only old Premier League striker with potential to 'amaze' and bring more through the gate would be Drogba. I reckon there's more chance of me winning the lottery.

    Brian Wilson's recent performances, especially away, have been pathetic. The first goal was fortuitous but not one defender reacted to the rebound. The second was coming with 10 men and Lockwood off the pitch.
