    If I was Holden I'd be telling them to appoint somebody asap, these players need somebody new. It could ruin his managerial career before it's even started.

    The only positive is if forces them to make an appointment. It was obvious they were hoping they could save money and stick with Holden.

    I've changed my opinion on Holden since Wednesday. I don't want to see him in charge until the end of the season, but I liked his interview yesterday and I'm looking forward to seeing what he and Lockwood do tomorrow.

    I don't see what's wrong with it? Is it too much to expect the players we pay to be focused on Latics? Wish the manager well behind the scenes all you want, but not in a press conference ahead of a huge game on Saturday. It would have been nice if he just said Johnson has gone, the team are focused on Preston.
