    It's hard to say we can't still make the play offs when you look at the 6 teams above us. The last two spots are anybody's IMO. Our priority has to be getting a striker in January, then who knows.

    Our best run involved Kelly, Jones and Winchester in midfield. Winchester will clearly never convince some.

    I wonder if Carl Winchester did enough to impress the manager today? Him and Kelly when he's back should be the first names on the teamsheet in midfield. We should call it a day with Ibehre though, he started well but by and large he doesn't suit our style and refuses to enter the box. The wage would be better spent on a different striker. Other than our clear lack of a threat upfront I'd have to agree with LJ that we actually weren't that bad.

    The players were completely thrown off by the ridiculous formation and their heads went after the first. It's very hard to get the momentum back.

    We've had similarly bad games against Gillingham and Crawley this season but played well in between. Do we really need a big inquest after every average performance?

    Teams can play poorly some times, you know... This season I've seen it 3 times, last season I saw it about 20 times.

    You're right, if he doesn't play we might make them. He was good in a team that played awful but effective football, but not this team.

    Let's be serious though, Paddy is right, he may have helped last season but I don't want the clogger anywhere near our back four this season. It's worrying to think LJ would put him in as back up over Dieng, who is young and has done a very good job there when asked. He should be fifth choice and nothing more.

    I'm really not sure how people can still have faith in Rachubka? Off the top of my head that's goals from Colchester, Leyton Orient, Peterborough, Walsall and Sheffield United where we might as well have not had a keeper plus his mistake last week. We're not exactly free scoring, these mistakes will cost us.
