    I'm only going off what LJ said, apparently he really likes him and the only stumbling block was a fee. This seems like a poor comment in the heat of the moment.

    The fact I've never seen him play has nothing to do with it. I said it's a ridiculous comment if LJ is looking at him, what if he decides to go in for him this week, would you want to sign after that comment from Murray?

    MENOAFC‏@MENOAFC 9m LJ non-committal on Gregory but PM said he wasn't better than what we have in his opinion. #oafc What a ridiculous thing to say if we're looking at him. I'm sure this will give us the edge should he have more than one club to choose from.

    Not quite sure what Oxley is doing for their goal though, or Mellor for that matter.

    LJ said we already have room in the budget for new players, but it's an issue of squad size and players would have to go. If think if he finds a striker and can bring him in, Rooney will be out of the door.

    A lot on their forum suggesting he's League Two standard, but they still think he's worth £100k. Not that it matters, I don't think we'd even offer a third of that.

    It's the exact opposite of the goal scoring frenzy many predicted. We don't attack in numbers so we're solid at the back and outnumbered in the opposition box.

    If people are really happy with being 3 points above the bottom four in January, we should all just call it a day. Just take a look at some of the clubs ahead of us, not exactly the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are they.

    Agree with most of this. I'm not saying he can't deliver in the future, but in terms of what we've seen so far he's not lived up to his own words!

    Yeovil have decided not to offer Driver anything after a trial. Houston or Oldham, it's a tough one.

    Pretty poor display again but we finally scored the first goal and Stevenage never looked like threatening. Mellor definitely my MOTM, Wes and Harkins the other two that impressed. Not sure why LJ persisted with JCH for the best part of 90 minutes though, it looked obvious early on he was going to have an off day. I would have liked to see Rooney/MacDonald come on and play off Harkins!

    Ran a lot more than I was expecting and showed good strength! He the little touches of quality and eye for a pass that could really help us in the middle!

    Was definitely my Man of the Match, handled Morais really well and didn't misplace a pass going forwards!
