    If LJ puts him in front of the defensive midfield pair, he won't need to work hard defensively for the team. He seemed reluctant to change things around to fit Baxter in though so we'll have to wait and see.

    I agree that is poor communication and they haven't stuck by their word. But surely people have had long enough to book their seat on a coach?

    I would be amazed if the shop isn't open before the coaches set off on Sunday. There will be 1500 people getting on coaches, massive opportunity to shift a few of those scarves.

    I would hope LJ has seen enough of him in training and while playing for Guiseley to determine whether he has a fitness problem, or if his legs have gone completely. If he was suffering from a hip problem while he was at Bury hopefully that explains his form there.

    LJ said on Latics Player Lockwood has been training with us for four months. Like somebody said earlier he could only sign for a conference club as he was paid outside the window, so he went to Guiseley to get games and LJ has been impressed with him in training and while playing for them. Had a hip operation while at Bury which halted him there apparently. He could still be crap though, obviously.

    Don't think we'll see him properly until Stevenage at home. Hopefully he'll provide us with some much needed attacking intent at Boundary Park.

    No, Wes will start if he gets clearance to wear the protective mask. No doubt he'll come on at some point though.

    Looks like Worrall is a winger then rather than a CM. Sounds like we've got a good player if his injury had cleared.

    I've certainly been known to overreact before. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong if this signing works.

    My worry is that he has been released by relegated Bury and only Guiseley wanted him. Not exactly the back up you want with with a potential relegation battle on the way. We've already got Byrne who can be solid enough.

    Is Cliff Byrne cup tied? If not I would hope LJ would turn to him if Tarky/Kusunga is injured given he did well against Liverpool last season.

    As will I. I'm not ACTUALLY going to walk but it doesn't make me think this signing is any less ridiculous.

    I'm sorry that the prospect of 32 year old signed from Guiseley, playing against Liverpool, doesn't excite me. Hopefully he's more of a coach that can play when desperate and we've another defender coming in.
