Sometimes these decisions go beyond the manager. We're down near the bottom so they might see it as an opportunity to get him fit while he helps us take points off teams around them.

My positive side is listening to the people on Twitter who say he has performed better in England, and is very talented on the ball but just a bit lazy, which sounds like Baxter. On the negative side the majority of their fans are happy to see the back of him and it makes me feel a little uneasy that he's a mate of LJ's.

Either the first, or an equalising goal is the dream for me on Sunday. After that I would take 6-1.

Joey Jones isn't getting a game at Yoevil, surely Lanzoni will only push him further down the order there. Maybe we could look at getting him in on loan.

Maybe LJ wants to change things but doesn't feel he has the players to do so. This is a big window for him. If he brings 3-4 new players in and we continue to plunder on at home, I'll be worried.

I think we are too negative at home. How often do we attack with pace, or the full backs overlap, or our central midfielders break in to the box. I can remember a couple of times yesterday where JCH/Rooney had to come deep, leaving us with only one man to cross to inside the box. It's ok away from home, but it's giving teams like Colchester and Shrewsbury easy points at Boundary Park. If a neutral walked in to that game yesterday at 2-1 down, they could easily have been forgiven for thinking we were winning the game with the tempo/attacking intent we were playing with.

I wasn't singling you out. There's quite a few on here who just blast peoples opinions as wrong. I can understand you thinking it's a broken record, but I'm sure the majority of us have been frustrated before when we believe something needs changing. BP is probably just frustrated at results like a lot of us are. I don't pay enough attention to know if BP really does go quiet when we are winning. But I doubt any fan really wants us to lose games.

I still haven't forgiven him for that woeful attempt at a penalty save in the shootout against Chesterfield. In hindsight though it was probably a good thing.

As far as I'm concerned everything he has put across has been reasonable. He's not firing off angry posts and screaming for LJ to go, just expressing his opinions. I certainly don't agree with all of them, but instead of insisting he is wrong, has it in for LJ etc.. Why not explain why you think he's wrong and express your opinion.

I think LJ did recently concede we need some more creativity in the middle. So I would expect he'll have some targets in mind.

I still agree with BP1960 on this one. Wes and Smith doesn't work. Just like Wes and Furman didn't. I'm praying these Worrall rumours are true.

The guy who seems to have started it on Twitter says it'll be announced today, he seemed quite confident. I'd be surprised myself.

Very much the way I feel. With the right coaching and given a consistent run he could become a very good midfielder. Nobody seemed to mention poor workrate or positional sense in his good run alongside Smith last season. I just hope we don't regret not giving him the opportunity!

Was impressed with Mellor at CM today. Wasn't scared to run with the ball and was only denied a goal by a brilliant save. I think LJ needs to give him a run of games in the middle now, show some confidence in him and he'll only get better.

Disagree... During the game we should be supporting our team only. He's an opposition player, booing him doesn't mean you're not grateful for his time at Latics.
