They've got some real quality in that team, the Dwight Gayle money has allowed them to keep the likes of Tomlin and add that new 1m pound striker. It's going to be tough but I certainly don't think they'll be as good going backwards, Monty and Dayton should get plenty of space out wide to run in to. In the words of Dickov "if we switch off we'll get punished" a point would be a great result but I think we'll see a reaction after last week so who knows!

At the start of January I would never have believed he'd still be here now, the last 8 months have been a bonus. Losing Baxter now is nowhere near as much of a hit to us as it would have been then, I would hope his wage could be used towards a new CB!

Depends what team they put out, wouldn't be surprised to see a team almost full of their fringe players having played today. I'll go for 3-2 Latics. Will be great to see Mellor and Tarky come up against higher level opposition and even if we concede a couple it can only be good in the long term!

I have the same problem with Baxter interviews, can't even watch it on the app. The way around it is to watch LJs interview to the end, and then click Baxters when it shows you more recent videos.

A win on Saturday and I think we could take 1,000 down there, especially with it being 3 weeks until our next away game after that! Although some may have the back to back trips to Preston and Rotherham in mind.

It will be interesting to hear people's thoughts when they get back and to watch how the goals were conceded tonight. I heard Mellor had a steady game but it sounds like the back four as a whole fell asleep for their second with them taking a quick throw and catching us flat footed. Somebody on the Stevenage forum said their third was a result of us trying the offside trap and failing. It will be interesting to see what the rest of this division has to offer and how we fare in our next two away games at Peterborough and Preston. It's going to be an interesting and fun ride I think.
