"The 31-year-old, who has no managerial experience, is believed to have been interviewed for the Oldham job and he is thought to have impressed the Latics board during his discussions with the club. Oldham are now understood to be ready to offer Johnson the manager's job as they look to climb clear of trouble at the wrong end of League One and secure survival."

    I don't think they do the £10 junior season ticket for the main stand. I'm not sure what the rules are for a 5 year old, surely they don't have to pay £10 a week, somebody might be able to clarify!

    I'm all for using the squad but there are a couple of very risky changes there! It will definitely pay off to give players a rest though, and it's great to see Philiskirk trusting players!

    The young, hungry manager is perfectly fine given a full pre-season and season ahead of him, but not in our situation. We need somebody experienced and somebody who will take no prisoners!

    I think this was something none of us wanted to happen, but we all knew it had to happen! Great guy, can't doubt his passion and commitment for the club and he gave us some great days that we won't forget. But it definitely had to happen now!
