  1. Just had a email from Plymouth Argyle and they will exchange the Surf118 home section tickets for away section at the ticket office.
  2. Waiting for the Guiness "pure genius" design and the Coca cola"The REAL Latics" design
  3. Big difference in a game like Swindon that was postponed the day before the game and Southampton which was postponed after the FA Cup second round. But well done to the programme department for responding to critisism on these boards. Gone are the days when you can scrap a whole print because of a postponment - though a insert would not have taken a lot of producing. Take note that Colchester are using the December 28 programme for the game in March but they have sent the programme back to the printers for inclusion of a wrap around. Imagine the comment if your Swindon programme was 8 weeks out of date!!!
  4. If you read the T&C's it makes no mention of the offer being for home fans only. When I spoke to S118 I made the point that I was a Oldham supporter and they sent tickets anyway. Should be a interesting day - especially after reading Terrys comments on the over-zealous stewarding at Plymouth.
  5. Do you think Buggers has been reading my diary for the week? http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...2262677,00.html
  6. Just heard from Bury and admission is £3/£1 not £4 and the teamsheets are either given on the turnstile or 10p - they arent sure.
  7. Dale did the same as Latics - I got in contact with the programme editior to find out what they where doing and I made it known on these boards that you might be thinking of Prozac
  8. Aye but the also have a Swindon one on as well. Personally I bought my Swindon programme at the Rochdale game.
  9. There is a Carlisle postponed programme on ebay at the moment. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=250752772217
  10. After a much needed win yesterday Latics come up against Southampton on Tuesday 19.45. Saints are sure to be on a high after their cup win over Blackpool "reserves". A damp cold visit to Oldham on a Tuesday night must be mouthwatering for them . The match will be refereed by 29 year old Geoff Eltrincham from Sunderland who took charge of the home game with Bristol Rovers earlier this season issuing 5 yellows and a red card. He also took charge of the 2-0 win over Leyton Orient last season. On Wednesday the reserves final play another game in the Totsport.com league West Division against Bury at Radcliffe Borough's Stainton Park. KO is 19.00 and admission is usually £4 for adults and a pound for children. Bury are rock bottom of the division with just one point from 6 games but they dont appear to have played a reserve game since the end of October. Having said that Dux's second string have been idle since a 1-0 home defeat to Shrewsbury on 9 November. Latics currently lie in 3rd place with 12 point from 8 games. For those not making the trip to Plymouth next Saturday the U-18 have game at next to bottom Morecambe (11.00). The game will be played at Lancaster & Morecambe college (Leave M6 at junction 34. Follow A589 Lancaster to Morecambe for approx 3 miles, still following the signs for Morecambe. Carry on at large roundabout, college entrance on right at pelican lights.). Tonys boys had a great win against Rochdale yesterday and should come away with three points. The first team are at Plymouth Argyle 15.00 KO If you are going to Plymouth on Friday and staying over and are at a loose end for something to do on Saturday morning Plymouth's youth team have a home game against Hereford United in the youth alliance 11.00. The game will be at Royal Artillery 29 Commando, Millbay Park, Plymouth PL1 3LG which is down by Plymouth Hoe.
  11. Here is the Latics line up: 1. Shaun Routledge 2. Danny Bell 3. Greg Kidd 4. James Tarkowski 5. Vinny Burke 6. David Mellor 7. Sam Fitzgerald 8. Matty A Carr 9. Kyle Riley 10. Jack Laird 11. Connor HUghes 12. Ryan Burns 14. Alex Parkes 15. Chris Sutherland Kyle had one of his best games this season holding the ball up well. Routledge was stand out in the second half as Dale tried to get back on level terms with a number of excellent stops.
  12. http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnew...er_amos_on_loan The end for Brill?
  13. Latics youth team are due to play Rochdales U-18 at Ashton United tomorrow 11.00KO Matty D Carr will still be unavailable as he is still suspended as a result of the three game ban for a head butt against Preston on 20 November. Entry is free The clubhouseshould be open - they could do with a few bob after it was broken into recently. There will be no teamsheet/programme. The friendly against Bradford was needed as the lads seemed rusty. Latics only had 13 players. Bradford who had a full squad of 16 made sure they played all 16 for a hour in the 3 x 30 minute period game. Bradford have won only 2 league games this season though they are through to the 4th round of the FAYC. Rochdale on the otherhand are going great guns in the YAL in second place behind runaway leaders Blackpool. Rochdale where recently beaten in the Youth Alliance Cup by 4-2 and there is a second cup game pending in the Lancs Youth Cup on 29 January. I will be there - anyone else?
  14. Basic : W17 D13 L16 GF 97 GA 78 Distance travelled 5852 miles and spent £310 on admission plus season ticket) and almost £75 on programmes & sheets.
  15. After a dissapointing start to 2011 yesterday we have a chance to get back on track at home to Rochdale tomorrow 15.00 Next Saturday the U18's have a Youth Alliance NW league game against Rochdale. Kick off is 11.00. The game is a Rochdale home game and is being played at Ashton United's Hurst Cross ground (OL6 8DY). No details on admission price but will probably be free. I will post details when I hace them. In the afternoon at 15.00 we have the re-arranged game at home to Swindon Town at BP. On a personal note Yesterdays game at Hartlepool was my 52nd Latics game this season. With another 13 games on my calender this month I am still well on track to make my target of 100 Oldham games in a season.

  17. After a blank week with no football for any Latics side there has been a bit of a easing of the cold which should see our visit to Essex go ahead. Tuesday sees Latics first team at Colchester United's desolate Weston Homes Community Stadium 15.00 kick off. Set the Sat Nav for CO4 5JS. New Years day Latics are due at Hartlepool United (TS24 8BZ) for a visit with Former Latics favourite Paul Murray and slightly less favourite Mick Wadsworth. The reserves have no fixture until 11 January at Radcliffe Borough (19.00) The Youth team gameagaint Rochdale in the Lancs Youth Cup scheduled for last Tuesday morning at Chapel Road will now be played on Sat 29 January (11.00) - The first team are at Carlisle United on the same day. The next scheduled game for the U-18's is on 8 Jan against Rochdale at Ashton United (11.00)
  18. Had to return my Rochdale set of stickers to the shop as they where tearing when removing from the backing. It appears they had not been cut deep enough. Anyone else had the problem?
  19. On Monday at 14.30 the players are due at the Spindles shop for a merchandise signing session. All manner of goodies can be bought from We are Latics II shop for players to scrawl on. Not likely to be on is Tuesday at 11.00 the Youth team are scheduled to play in the Quarter Final of the Lancashire Youth Cup. The victors will play at Burnley or Tranmere Rovers who are due to play their QF on 19 January. The Rochdale team was weakened with injuries and they included a few scholars and a 5'6" goalkeeper when the teams met in the Youth Alliance cup recemtly with Latics running out 4-2 winners. Latics again be without Matty D Carr whose three game suspension is lasting a lot longer than anticipated with the lack of first team games to count off those three games. The first team play host to Carlisle United a week today at 15.00. KtF Gary
