6 is a bit harsh on M'Changama. He was only on the pitch for about 5 minutes and he set up a goal. Smith was a beast. The best player on the pitch by some way. He bullied international defenders and looked unplayable. Made up for him because he puts a shift in week in week out. Yesterday all his hard work paid off.

We're a football club, and football clubs cost money to run. We can't, and shouldn't, moan about the youth set up costing us money to run. The first team costs a lot of money to run too. Should we scrap that too? There is more to the club than just the first team. Plus, if we scrap it and then in 2 years time we realised that was a massive mistake, it will be ridiculously hard to re-establish a youth set up from scratch.

A season or two back there was a group of Norweigan lads walking up sheepfoot lane wearing Latics scarves. Asked them why they had come to watch us and they said they were in Manchester for the weekend and decided to take a game in. They had a look at the fixture list, decided on Latics. Bought tickets, went in the club shop to buy some scarves and proper got into it.

Well that game was amazing. Matt Ryan won the game with 30 seconds remaining and 2 time outs. Which is what Denver had when they took a knee last night.

Just been reading that Kovy doesn't want to leave the KHL this season, but obviously has to because of his Devils contract. Sounds like its not that he doesn't want to go back to the Devils, but (like most of us) the lock out has pissed him off and he wants to finish the KHL season instead.
