  1. That's a shame. Is that any SL team, or just the big boys? If they drew London or Catalans then Whitebank would easily be big enough! They will easily get a much bigger crowd away from the Whitebank, but it does take some of the magic away from it.
  2. Now the yed have their own ground, it will be a big shame if they don't get to (or choose not to) play this game at the Whitebank.
  3. Totally dominated the first period. Thought we were going to throw it away in the second. Third was a lot tighter, and probably the quickest 3rd period I've ever seen. The puck hardly seemed to go out of play. Florida have one good line, which shouldn't be enough to get you anywhere in the playoffs. So barring a major cock up, we should get through. Long way to go though.
  4. Anyone know what date the playoffs start?
  5. He is banned from the stadium and the practice facility for a year.
  6. We're in, and like Josh said, 6th seems to be a better position to finish than 4th or 5th. And I think 6th is well and truly locked up. Oh, and another Marty Brodeur shutout.
  7. Blackpool have 3 really good stands and one semi-temp stand. Would be miles better than us. Bristol City's ground is miles better than BP. We need more than a new sand to compete with them. Never been to Watford, so can comment. Peterborough ain't exactly terrible. BP is currently an embarrassment. One of, if not the worst ground in this league. If we went down, it would be one of he worst in the league below.
  8. Don't bother watching the first 64 mins (first 45 especially!) They were dire! Minutes 65 to 94 are legendary though.
  9. Seriously? Preston are crap and we didn't win that game. It was a great game, but yesterday was just extraordinary. To turn that around yesterday was unbelievable. To go to a big club, promotion chasing team, and turn that around was amazing. I'm still in shock. It was one of the all time great away games. Preston was just pretty decent.
  10. It baffles me that a Sheffield United fan could call us "essentially a keeper, nine spoilers and a fat :censored: up front." He supports Sheffield United FFS. That is essentially their own philosophy on football. They are consistently one of the most horrible teams to watch. A team of big lumps who set out to frustrate and apoil the game. Play long percentage balls. Basically the type of football that no body wants to watch. I'm not just talking about yesterday either, I mean throughout the history of the club. And then he has then nerve to say that we are a team of spoilers. Horrible team, horrible fans, horrible club.
  11. I get your point, and the £329 is the price I worked it out at before because that's what mine cost - but that's the pre-discount price. If you buy it after the discount period I think they are about £400.
  12. I think the point he was making was that there aren't enough people who can afford to who are willing to do it.
  13. I just wish the videos were available on the iPad like they are on the news site.
  14. Send him back, he isn't good enough. Too lightweight, and never wins a challenge. He is alright if you are 3-0 up and he is given plenty of space, but as soon as the opposition out a challenge in he loses possession.
  15. Train from Ashton, 37 mins past each hour. About £11.
  16. 12000 empty seats it were. For a league cup semi. "Best fans in the world."
  17. The main resin I have for disliking Karl Robinson is that he is the Franchise FC manager. Anyone who works for them is scum of the highest order. That's being said, I still voted Martin Allen.
  18. Whats wrong with it? You can watch football from your own home. Just not every single game. And nor should you be able to.
  19. Why don't they just say do it when the ref blows for the end of the minutes silence?
  20. Football is ace. There is no other sport like it. I watch loads of the stuff. Premier league can get a bit dull at times, and I rarely watch United (I'd rather not watch them than watch them win... And they usually win), but I'll often end up watching some foreign stuff. The Champions League can be great to watch (especially this season now I don't have to care who wins), and the Euros and World Cup are always the hilight of the year for me.
  21. If we can beat Southend, this draw would mean we could probably sign Simpson, get Kuqi signed up longer, maybe keep Scapuzzi for the season. The replay against Southend is our biggest game in years.
