  1. Ssshhhh... We can't mention that on here!
  2. Biggest game of the season, until we play th at their place. When they beat us last season it was embarrassing. When they finished above us last season, it was embarrassing. We can start putting it right today.
  3. It's 2 live games a week more than I currently get on my TV package!
  4. Only not good if they aren't picked up by anyone. I'd love it if Sky picked up the rights. (not gonna happen though)
  5. I play in a NHL xbox online league with Brad (one of the lads who does it), pretty sound lad.
  6. You broke your leg kicking a ball, you big girl!* *to be fair, you did carry on playing football with a broken leg for the next hour. Not so girly.
  7. I think the squad we have is lacking in experience, strength and depth.
  8. I'd guess the MEN will be running it on the website tomorrow and not in print.
  9. This is India we are playing. You don't lean on them and get away with it. If they didn't want to revoke their appeal, then it wouldn't happen. That being said, I personally don't think they should have revoked their appeal. Bell made a mistake. It would be an unusual dismissal, but these things happen. However, as Dravid said, it wasn't sitting well with the Indian team so they decided to change their minds, so fair play to them.
  10. I wouldn't mind him (or anyone, providing they are good enough) making our midfield tick either. But there is about as much chance of him making a midfield tick (in any decent standard of football) as there is of me going to Tokyos tonight and pulling Scarlett Johansson. He is a poor player. That's why he wasn't good enough for us, or Hartlepool. He gives the ball away in midfield far too often, and he is massively lightweight. The reason he was often played out of position is that he wasn't good enough to play in the centre of our (or Hartlepools) midfield.
  11. Some of the, I can see us taking a lot less. Also, anyone with half a brain would just think to themselves "instead of paying £15 to the club so I can buy tickets at BP, I'll just travel to the away game and pay on the gate."
  12. Is it some kind of invisible shirt, because I can't see anything.
  13. Apparently, Larsson who we got in round 1 is quality.
  14. I have no idea, but to be honest I would doubt it very much. I think the only draft (that I am aware of) that is televised in the UK is the NFL one.
  15. Aye, its a category A game because for some reason the club think they must have 3 equal groups. I can only think of 5 games that probably should be classed as category A. The rest should be B's and C's (mostly C's).
  16. Chesterfield - on a cold and miserable day in November. Unless they are doing well, logic and £23 will dictate that they would bring about 500.
  17. To be fair Bob, despite the fact that he is a cheat, he is worth a damn sight more than 40p a week!
  18. On the flip side, 75 goals conceded in the league. You could say they deserve to get relegated for that!
  19. I don't think it will be that long until the Premier League introduces playoffs for the last CL spot. I think they should as well.
  20. I think calling him an illiterate scrote is a bit harsh on the lad! He was honest with what he thinks and other people like him think. He didn't say anything wrong. But at the same time, they really could have chosen someone who is a lot more eloquent. It wouldn't have been too hard to find.
  21. Fat?! Crossley was a big unit. As was Gregan, though with Gregan I don't know if it was fat or he was just huge. Reid is a tubby bugger who could definitely do with losing a bit.
  22. Crap start? They flew out of the traps. They won their first 5, and their first 2 they won 6-0. By the end of October they were 5 points clear at the top. It was the middle of the season, right after they (Abramovich) fired Wilkins off, that they slumped badly.
  23. It's rubbish. How can we expect to actually produce decent international footballers if we don't pick them for important tournaments? Look at Germany. The team that leathered England in the World Cup in 2010 had 4 players (Neuer, Khedira, Boateng, Ozil) who started the game when Germany leathered England in the Euro Under 21 final in 2009. Playing in the U21's a year before a major tournament didn't do them any harm. Tournament football is unlike anything else in football. The experience of tournament football can only be gained by playing in tournaments, so why we don't treat all the age group tournaments seriously baffles me.
  24. So, let me get this right... Lancashire County Cricket Club are playing only one home game this season? The game at Blackpool in August against Worcestershire. With the rest of our (or should I say "their" if I'm not actually Lancastrian) "home" games being played at neutral venues in Manchester, Liverpool and Southport?
