If you are on 8th Avenue, and you see a bakery near 30th St proclaiming to have the "worlds best cheesecake", don't fall for it. It was nice, but I have had better. A bit further up 8th Avenue (around 33rd/34th, nr MSG) there was a Irish pub/restraunt. In there I had the best steak ever. They should have claimed it was the "worlds best steak" because it was awesome. And the waitress was fit as f**k. I wish I could remember the name of the place so I could recommend it properly. Don't venture too much further up 8th Avenue though, it gets pretty seedy! (Well it did when I went about 5 years ago). Don't get in a taxi and ask him to take you to 110th St because you want to walk through the park... the driver will look at you like you are crazy (and it would be a stupid thing to do. Trust me.) Go to the Disney Shop on 5th Avenue. It had a Mr Potato Head pick n mix.

I did it. Think the observation deck is the 86th floor. Another $15 got you up to the 102nd floor, which was behind glass. Really not worth the extra money. You are easily high enough at 86 floors, and you end up with reflection from the glass on any pictures you get.

I was watching that game when he did that. Dirty bastard. Got kicked out and hopefully a long ban. Devils now 7 behind the Sabres, with 10 to play. I cant see it happening, but this week we have Boston, Pittsburgh and then Buffalo all away. After the Buffalo game, if we can have cut that to 5 points (7 to play) we might still have a chance. Its a slim chance though, because these next 2 are tough. We did look bloody good last night though.

8 points deficit with 11 games to go. Away at Columbus tonight. After the last 2 games were defeats, I think our chances of an unlikely playoff berth are all but over.

Crosby is the best player on the planet, and he is great to watch. I hope he gets back real soon. I know the Pens are in our divison, and him being healthy makes our division tougher, but the guy is quality.

Last 10 Stanley Cup champions... 5 East, 5 West. It's all well and good being the "best" conference during the regular season, but what matters is who wins the cup. And the east does just as good a job as the west at producing Stanley Cup champions. In the NFL, the AFC is currently regarded as the better conference. And it backs up that claim by providing 7 of the last 10 Superbowl winning teams. The west however, does not back up its claim of being better than the east by producing more champions.

This is one of the things I dont get. We wont be able to play for free at Gigg Lane/Spotland/Edgely Park/Wherever, so there is a cost involved still. Plus, the crowds their will be a lot less than the 3500 home support we are currently getting, so we would be well f***ed.
