He felt a slight touch and threw himself to the ground. Not a foul, not a penalty. Just, unsurprisingly, a cheating United player.

To be fair to the lad, it has turned out alright for him though. They are now at the top end of the division above us, and this season Leeds have played 26 league games. He has started 18 and come off the bench in 4. So he isn't doing all that badly.

Is it competitive though? At the start of the season you can predict the two clubs who will challenge for the title, and the club that will finish 3rd, and not really ever be in any danger of being incorrect. Now that is tiresome.

I don't know, they were pretty awful. The first half it was like we were playing against statues. And for most of the second half we were dominant. A 7-0 scoreline would not have flattered us tonight. And then we threw it all away in spectacular style.
