Either. My tv in my room is 26", and the quality is pretty good. I am not sure how well it would look if you have a much bigger telly though.

That you couldn't do, but I do know that the New York Mets and New York Yankees played a baseball double header in 2000. They played at the Mets Shea Stadium in the afternoon, and as soon as that finished they all got on the Subway and went to Yankee stadium to play in the evening. Obviously, this would not work for us... 2 games against different opposition...we would be bloody knackered! And playing half first team/half youths in one game and playing the other half in the next game wouldn't work. Our first 11 isn't good enough as it is. If definitely wouldn't be good enough at half strength.

I watched til the end of the first. It was all very one sided so could see how it would end up. I'm planning on getting up extra early for work tomorrow to watch the Czech-Slovak derby. Should be a good 'un, and get to watch Patty E which is nice.

Seriously, if I won it, I'd approach TTA and ask them how much it would cost to redevelop BP (I'm guessing £20m for 3 new stands?), write them a cheque for the redevelopment and still have £30m+ in the bank. Yep, give us a couple of weeks rest and then we will be ready for the playoff push. Scheduling for the Hockey is good for us. Semi's are on a Friday night, and the Final is 8 pm on the Sunday evening.

Football fans only know cliched criticisms. There is a list of them, and I think most people just have a tick list for each manager and use them....once they have used 10 or 15 its time for a change. It's always the same old rubbish too, "no plan B / players are lazy / players are lacking heart and commitment / he has lost the dressing room / he has his favorites / he can't motivate the players / he must be crap at half time team talks 'cos we are always rubbish after the break / he changes it too much / he doesn't change it enough" etc etc...

Our level of support from ethnic communities would probably be in proportion to what City get. If City get 40,000 through the gate, I bet there are less than 400 asian fans which is less than 1%. Obviously, I have no stats to back this up so I am just guessing. The same with Man U. I know there are those lads who sit near the bench who I always see on the telly, but I'd be surprised if more than 1% of the crowd at OT was asian (well, minus the tourists obviously!) Does anyone know what proportion of Bolton's fans are from ethnic minorities. They actuall have a high profile British-Asian fan, and Bolton are in the prem so you would think it would be easier than most to attract ethnic minorities, but I am guessing most people in Bolton (white or ethnic) are glory hunting reds.

Aye, you'd think so. But thats not what they are planning. Home end will be the detached end, is what Ian Hill was saying last night. The reasoning being that we can move home fans in one of the sides if we get a big game where the away team will bring a few. It's good to see that they really think our home attendances will increase when we get down there.
