  1. But we also won the league 4 times before the Superbowl era.
  2. Do you think Kurt Warner will play on? I hope so. The bloke is a legend.
  3. A mix of both I would guess... the no frills hard working style of Everton, occasional flashes of brilliance like Spurs....and historically more successful than Chelsea/New England.
  4. I'll watch that when I am home from work. Have you ever seen the film "Miracle"....it should be really bad, but actually its pretty decent.
  5. Nope, its definitely the Cowboys. Fans all over the country, self promoted as Americas team/biggest club...the parallels with United are all there. The Patriots on the other hand, with their recent success and the cheating, would probably be Chelsea.
  6. Just like United, they are the second most successful team in their country.* *in the superbowl era
  7. Bacause they are the Manchester United of the NFL. And because Tony Romo is a c**k.
  8. If they put a cover on, where would the water from this rain go?
  9. Yeah, went to the cinema to watch it. Not a huge Sci-Fi fan myself, buts its pretty decent. Sam Rockwell puts on a fantastic performance. It's pretty much a one man show.
  10. Inglorious Basterds is Tarantino back on top form. All 5 chapters are ace. The shootout in the Tavern is particularly brilliant, and I also think the way the tension ramps up in the opening scene is amazing. And Shoshanna is gorgeous.
  11. I'll guess (with nothing to back this up other than Rochdale not having much money at all ) at £80k.
  12. A better ending? That was freakin' great! In a game where defense just had not turned up, I was well shocked that they forced a fumble and returned it for a TD. What a truly amazing game.
  13. I'd say a successful season is making the playoffs and winning a game. Once you go deep into the playoffs, anything can happen (as we shown). But losing your first game is no success at all (for us that is.)
  14. So do you think you have had a successful season? It wasn't lomg ago you were moaning that they let you down. Personally, for the Giants, solely making the playoffs isn't a success. You have to do something once you are there. When we won the Superbowl, if we did not win a playoff game that season, Coughlin would have got fired. Getting there is not success, doing something is what matters. I'm pissed off we didn't make it, bit if we did and then lost in the first round, we might as well just not make it and get a better pick. For some teams, getting there is success enough (Jets, Bengals), but for a lot of teams, just making it is nothing unless you do something.
  15. It's not actually. If you make the playoffs and do absolutely nothing, then you might as well have not got there and got a better draft pick.
  16. You should. You support the New England Patriots FFS. The most successful team in the NFL in the past decade. 7 Playoff appearances, 4 Superbowl appearances, 3 Superbowl wins in the past 10 years. If you want sympathy because Latics are crap, then fair enough, don't we all. But if you really think the New England Patriots have "let you down" then you need to have a word with yourself...maybe take a step back and consider how lucky you are to have picked one of the more successful teams to support.
  17. Green Bay are doing their best to be worse than you...
  18. I'll watch the highlights. 8 hour time difference? No chance of me staying up for that!
  19. This thread has been going since September, with only 4 posters....finally, it's first debate!
