Our defense is like the Liverpool team. You take a couple of players out and no one else steps up. We have massively missed Thomas and Pierce, and no one has filled the void, no one has even attempted to. Its really disappointing.

For one, your wrong. Like Corp, I have no stats to back this up, but speaking from experience (went to school there, lot of mates down there, often drink down there) there just aren't that many Latics fans. At all. For two, "some people have this big hang up about keeping Oldham in Oldham"....oh dear. I actually shook my head when I read that, and wondered if I had read it right. Of course people want to keep Oldham in Oldham....because it's Oldham ffs. I'm guessing you just don't get it. (For the record, I do see Failsworth as being part of Oldham. But I also think it is a shockingly bad location for a new Oldham Athletic stadium. If it was the other end of Failsworth, near Hollinwood, that would be mile better, but this location seems like a bad idea.)

I take it back! That was as convincing a divisional win as I have seen for a long time. Defence stepped up, and Manning was superb. Hopefully this is us getting back on track. I think if we win the last 2 we will get in the playoffs, as I can see Dallas and/or Green Bay losing one, and we have the tie=breaker with both teams in our favour.

I didn't put words in your mouth. I asked you a question. Which wasn't answered. We can put an end to this now re: the MK/Wimbledon debate. Bascially, I am right, and you are all kinds of wrong. Usually, you can say people are entitled to their opinion, and in 99.9% of cases that is correct...but on this issue, if you don't agree with me then you are wrong.

So why did Wimbledon not deserve their league football club? What did the Wimbledon fans do that meant they didn't deserve their team anymore? If you can't pull 5000 in the Championship then it may be game over as a championship club. But they could have sustained themselves as a league 1/league 2 club.

The less than 2000 (I think it was around 1000) they were getting was because the fans had decided that if you are moving us then you can p**s off. Before it was announced they were still getting around 5000. Whether or not they are good crowds is not an issue. What you are saying is that unless you have good crowds, you dont deserve a football club. You are saying Wimbledon didn't deserve their club, and Oldham don't deserve theirs. I go watching my team at every home game, and a few away games, regardless of how good it is. What you are saying, is because the rest of the town can't be arsed, the 3500 diehards (of which I am one) do not deserve their club. Wimbledon were getting around 4-5000. Ok, maybe they wouldn't have survived much longer in the Championship, but they deserved their place in the football league (as does Oldham) as it has been earnt throughout history of football. To suggest that anywhere that has a team that has earnt this right doesn't deserve it because crowds are low, is quite frankly, the biggest loads of bollocks I have seen anyone spout on this site.

Wimbledon's support was dross? Just because there is only a few of them doesn't make them bad supporters. And just because there are only a few of them doesn't mean they should have their team stolen from them.
