It's definitely workable. The Manchester Phoenix Ice Hockey team do a similar scheme where they sell 4, 7 and 10 ticket packs. With them, you can use them how and when you like (excluding cup games). You don't need to attend 4 games if you buy 4 tickets, you can just split them with your mates and four of you can go to one game, or two of you can go to a couple of games. It's definitely workable. Not sure what t+c's they have, but I'm sure if Latics contacted them they would explain how they make it work.

And United are sooooo different.

If Barca play to their full potential I think they will win. In Messi, Xavi and Iniesta they have 3 of the worlds top 5 players (IMO) who can win the game for them. I hope they do for two reasons. 1. I cant stant them red ***** and 2. Barca play football the way it is meant to be played. I read a stat on the BBC website last night. Against Chelsea, in 180 mins, they attempted nearly 1400 passes, 82% of which were successful. Chelsea, in the same 180, attempted less than 700 with less than 65% accuracy. Barca only know one way to play and it's a joy to watch, so hopefully they will do the business tonight....unfortunately though I think they will not be on top of their game and United will win .

Sweep the 'Canes....now that is pretty impressive. Think last years experience will stand the Pens in good stead, hopefully they can go one better this year.

When you see how much fans seem to enjoy themselves winning this supposedly meaningless cup, it makes you really want to win it. As far as I am concerned, its a first team competition, and should be treated seriously (that being said, the amount of times we have lost in it an it hasn't bothered me is quite high!).

Yeah, usually I book half days off work, but I need to save some cash so knocked it on the head this year. Think we are going to the FPT semi final though (on a Sunday) if you fancy it.

Some T20 every Saturday at 3pm would be appreciated....but still, it's just not the same.

But they are. During the season there is something to look forward to every week, even though you know it will be crap, at least your still going to a game. At the moment its just rubbish. They should introduce a summer mini league or something just for something to do!

Considering we couldn't sell the ground out when it was £2 a game in the league a couple of seasons back, and the general apathy towards the JPT, we could just end up making a huge loss so I can't see it happening. That being said, its a first team game at home and therefore I will be there, so as cheap as possible please.

The game at Headingly on Friday is on Sky. Usually go to all the 20/20 games but not going to be able to make it this year. Roses games are ace, well when we win they are anyway! There was one a couple of years back when we hammered them by 100 runs. We just gave their fans a hell of a lot of pain. Was top. And the game just after Yorkshire got flooded a couple of years back saw some great chants (By the rivers of Rotherham, Drown Drown, Deeper and Drown, etc...). Hope we can finally win the thing this time!

And he said after that game, he thought they coped well with a very physical Oldham side. I can't stand him, or Morgan, or Sheffield United in general.

Banquet is just ridiculously good, one of my top tunes ever. I didnt like the way they released an updated version of Silent Alarm with Two More Years, really bugs me when they do that. Two More Years is a classic tune though. I think they did the same with Flux on WITC, again, top tune but bloody annoying when they do that! Have you heard the remix album of "Intimacy"?

Well, if you put it like that.... The only problem I could see would be keeping him fit, he would have such a big target on him, defenders would just kick him all day. He would be like Shez or Eyresy, but better. Those two oozed class, so their age wasnt a problem. Scholes would be similar.

I think it's just me who thinks a Weekend in the City is a better album.

That midfield that Newcastle have is awful. There is no quality whatsoever.

Depends how you define "local"...Scunthorpe is about 100 miles from Newcastle, so I'd say no.
