  1. to be fair to him, that was one of the funniest goal celebrations ever. If everton fans were gonna give him stick, then what a way to give it back.
  2. LOL. To be fair, the Patriots have had a very easy schedule, and when they have played anyone good they have lost. Even if they get it, I think either of the wildcard teams would beat them....though on any given sunday and all that!
  3. It was a pretty amazing game, the second half performance was fantastic. Jacobs back in and all off a sudden we are dominating teams again. Jacobs pounded the hell out of them, they were worn down, and Ward exploited them perfectly. Home field advantage, number 1 seed in the NFC, and a much needed week off at the beginning of January. Think we really need that to rest guys up and get them healthy for the first playoff game. Cowboys will make it if they beat Philly, I hope they dont, because they will be very dangerous if they do make it. Thought the Panthers looked very good in the 1st half last night, they have the weapons, and will be tough in the playoffs. In the AFC, I think Colts hitting form at the right time, and Ravens look good, but both will be Wildcards and its hard to win the thing from that position. Think Titans looked good last night, and if the Steelers hit form then they are very tough to beat. The playoffs will be very intersting this year!
  4. With Alessandra being so young, he needs bringing on gradually. Playing every week will not be good for him in the long run, which is why Shez is not starting him every week. Give it another year an he will be a first team regular, because he is quality.
  5. I agree with you 100%. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that a lot of football fans are just f*****g goons.
  6. Does a manager really have to motivate a player to be the first to a rebound and therefore not concede a goal? Surely the fact that it is their f*****g job is motivation enough?
  7. grant and brand are both comic geniuses? Never knew that, i though one was fat and did horoscopes and one was skinny and does heroin?
  8. sorry, i thought there were going to be about 20 replies slagging Oasis off, like every other article about them on the NME website.
  9. erm.....there are 5 comments and none of them really comic genius....
  10. I havent seen the game, planned on avoiding the score and watch it tonight, but then i got a text saying something along the lnes of "was good to see you get stuffed... etc", so guessed there isnt much point in watching it! The result wasnt too much of a surprise, like last week. Playing deserate teams who are big rivals, whereas we have doe most of the hard work. Next week is a big game now, and the great thing about Manning is that he always reacts well after a big dissapointment. Last year aganst the Vikings he threw 4 picks, 3 returned for TD's, and he reacted by going on to win the Superbowl. Earlier this year he thre 3 picks against Cleveland, and reacted by winning 6 (or was it 7?) straight. Last night he was sacked times, so i wouldnt bet against hm havig a day next sunday. It is the wrong time o year to have these problems though, and hopefully we can sort it. At the moment, if i hd o put money on anyone, it would be the Steelers. Last 2 weeks they have had it real tough, and they have come through both times. Plush they have a QB who has the experience of going all the way.
  11. Steelers v Ravens....now that was a game! Mike Tomlin is surely the coolest coach in the NFL!
  12. College football....its tangled web! I actually cant watch it becuse i have n idea how they work out who the champions are, its really bizarre. I have tried to watch a few games, but I didnt like it (just think i dnt have the patience to understand it). The Cards aint doin too well at the moment (ie, tonight, not this season!). I think Warner will win MVP though, he has been fantastic this year. On ESPN they had a vote, and the top 3 was: 1. Warner 2. Eli Manning 3. Brees As i said the other week, I dont think Brees will win it because the Saints wont make the playoffs (unless a miracle happens). The article is here: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?page=hotread13/mvp As for the G-Men tonight, we have a great opportunity to put a huge dent in Dallas' playoff hopes. And we need to win because we have a huge game next week against Carolina which could decide number 1 seeding. No Brandon Jacobs tonight, which is a massive blow. I wont be watchin tonight, Im going to have to avoid the score and download it either Monday or Tuesday.
  13. Agreed. Thats now on my desktop, cheers!
  14. Very very nice. And here are a couple of images, that if you could get into a sig it would be ace... I used to have a large version of the second one as my desktop background, looked pretty sweet. Dont worry if you dont have time though, the new Strahan one is pretty sweet.
  15. Your right...I was getting mixed up. I actually have a Umenyiora shirt with 72 on it so I dont know why I said that!
  16. Dont worry mate you dont have too...unless oafc0000 wants a Jacobs sig. TBH, my fave Jint is Michael Strahan. I know he has retired, but if u want to make a OAFC/Strahan sig, it would be much appreciated. And if yuo want me to pick my fave 72 image im sure i could! Cheers pal!
  17. I think Daznathe is messing about...but he isnt our best player in years. Number 28, and our current manager were better...but yeah, he is bloody good.
  18. I like number 2 the best...think i will stick with the one i currently have tho cos its got a Latics badge on.
  19. Also, our run of fixtures (up until Stockport and Scunny back2back at the end of Jan) is favorable. I dont want to get too far ahead, but if we are aiming for promotion we should pick up a lot of points between now and the next time we play a promotion challenger.
  20. That was a very very very good point earned.
  21. The site i download the games off doesnt have a capper for this one, so i just watched the highlights....wow. What a game that looked like. Brian Gionta is the man!
  22. Ah ok... 3-1 Barca. Real to take an early lead (new manager an all that) before Barca keep up their 3 goal a game average. Henry (2) and Messi. Full house....
