There seems to be poor crowds all over the league. Only realy seems to be teams in Canada, North East and Detroit who get really good crowds. But even the Devils crowds are always poor, and we have won the cup 3 times in recent years. Only seem to will it against the Rangers, and that is because there are loads of Rangers fans there. When I went it was half empty. Interestingly, on NHL.com it had the attendance as 17010, in a 19000 seat arena...but it was half full at most. Watched a game this week from Sunday night, Devils 5 Washington 5, devils won on a Shootout. What an amazing game, Ovechkin levelled it with one second on the clock to send it to overtime. Was one of the best games i'd seen for a long while.

Not sure about the Penguins (do they get really good crowds all the time or just when they are doing well?), but when me and the mrs went watching the devils, we just walked up to the ticket office an hour before the game and bought them there and then. Gutted for ya Ack...I've seen Marty play ;)....but we lost. Must have been a bad loss because there was a guy behind me who proclaimed rather loudly: "We're losing....to the ISLANDERS!"

I voted Argies. Even though we are not usually that good, Scotland will never be good enough to be anything other than annoying. You get the feeling that Germany dont hate us back like we hate them. But with the Argies, theres mutual loathing there. They cant stand us, and I for one cant stand them greasy cheating Argies. Last night was good, and at least it was a friendly that felt like a proper game...but when we beat the Argies in that friendly a couple of years back, that was belting. Both sides deperate to win, and it was a cracking game.

Worse....it was like a JPT game!

Yep, if they ever close the Chaddy again, Im going in the main stand. I dont like sitting in the RRE, it feels unnatural. Plus, we have a 100% losing record when I sit in there. The other thing aswell, in the second half we were attacking an empty Chaddy End. If we had someone in there it might have helped spur us on a bit.

Bloomin eck....imagine how many yards we would get if we put up huge passing number. We are regularly getting 150-200yds rushing, which is amazing.

Was right in front of where I was sat. Definite booking. Pure stupidity. He got booked for either kicking the ball away/aiming it at fans/aiming it at lino. Either way it was petty and stupid.

Definitely one of the top 3, i think Tennessee and Carolina have a good case for best team in the NFL, but I think we are better than Carolina, and we are the best in the NFC. Tennesse have yet to lose, which is pretty amazing this late in the season....there record might be going tonight though.

Yeah they do. There are usually some pretty decent ones in Tesco in failsworth for under a ton.

But still not interfering with play. If one of our players was on the far side of the pitch and moving he wouldn't be flagged, and neither would a steward. And anyways, if thats the case then its the Latics fans fault for voting for such a godawful kit.

But the two stewards/st jonhs ambulance men surely cant have been interfering with play.

WE had two goals disallowed because HE was offside twice. How often is he caught offside? Chris Porter used to get so much stick for being offside a lot, but Hughes is just as bad, if not worse. His first booking was shockingly unprofessional. It was his 6th booking of the season, and all have been petty and unavoidable. The second yellow was a bad decision by the ref, but if he keeps putting himself in this position, then sooner or later he was gonna get sent off. Obviously Mr Corney's rant had no effect on Hughes as he did it yet again.

College sport in America....its a tangled web! I really cant understand it, and why do they have so many different bowl matches? I downloaded a few games last season but I really couldn't get into it. Tennesse will lose soon, most probably to someone you wouldn't expect. The good thing about the NFL is that it really is a case of "any given sunday". Anyone can beat anyone else if they have a good day. The Giants have only lost once this year, and that was to a team that was 3-6!!! Incidentally, whilst I am on the Giants....another great win. It is never easy for us to go to Philly, a proper inter-city rivalry. Our run in is ridiculous, about as hard as you can get. Starting with the Pittsburgh game last week, ever game up til the end of the season is against sides who currently have a winning record. And it includes 5 divisional games, in what is the toughest division in the NFL.

Its not that high. I just think its because they have a pretty big crown on the pitch so its easier for him to see the other side of the pitch.

But thats only because he has a bad neck. Wenger, Ferguson, Mourinho etc... none of them sit in the directors box. I dont see what difference it would make.

Its just a shaky run of form. If we get a few positive results in the next few weeks we are in a good league position and the next round of the cup. It could be a hell of alot worse....and in fact it has been a hell of a lot worse since we have been in this division!

They self destructed about 5 years ago! Since they got to the Superbowl in 2002 they are 21-67....something seriously wrong in Oakland which looks like it has no chance of being sorted out any time soon.
