    apparently the clubs debts were in the region of £2m i think the sheddings land would have gone for a lot more than that i reckon both Quinn and the Council made a tidy sum, and left the Roughyeds homeless - disgusting

    everywhere you walk, you see a united top, they are evrywhere maybe because the sheddings club was open late, and all the 'united fans' who had watched them on TV had gone back to the sheddings club i know it was open late, i vaguely remember my mum not being happy with the owd fella about it

    i can tell you have no interest in the game its about supporting your town as a whole, you have to respect Oldham Rugby if you are from Oldham it would be a different story if the boot was on the other foot, its obviuos DP isnt from Oldham - it stinks

    founder member of the Northern Union aswell back in 1895 some latics fans need to remember this when they moan about the rugby 'ruining our pitch' do these same latics fans command respect for being founder members of the Premier League?

    you are already a fan though to market a club and bring new fans in you need a decent team on the pitch otherwise its a case of 'that was crap im not going there again', which means marketing the club would be pointless

    a bit of both, when they went bust in 1997 under Jim Quinn they has about £2m debt but where promised off the then council that if they leave Watersheddings to allow houses to be built a new ground WILL be built for them

    Hamilton says no ground in Oldham has the requirments to satisfy the RFL so i dont think they can use Chadderton

    its all well and good coming up with marketing ideas but what is the point this season? we are not going to attract many new fans this season we need a team on the pitch doing the business first - then the crowds will return and we will attract more fans

    bad news for the Roughyeds, maybe a cost cutting measure by Hamilton now Quinn has gone but it makes sence for them to move to a cheaper ground, more money to pay wages im sure Corney will be on the phone to Hamilton when the Roughyeds get through to the later rounds of the Challenge cup to offer BP to him £££££££
