  1. I think you've all missed the fact that once again Optional is in the picture
  2.   Why do they do those, why can't you just have a proper spare? And btw I did mean chough, how very dare you!
  3. I know its not complicated is it, ok so my spelling was off but I really can't see why it was "shocking". Only Gillian knows the answer to that !
  4. Sorry my fault, poor spelling, I meant CHOUGH, as in the bird see, obviously pronounced chuff, d'oh. As Mads can probably confirm after here nunnery visit, many nuns keep choughs as pets, but don't feed them very well, thus individual birds tend to stockpile food and are very selfish at sharing it, hence tighter than a nuns chough. Nothing shocking to see, move along now Mads baby sitting is easy, as long as they are in bed, asleep first, only had one bad experience, and that was with new memeber on here anyway, McGoo84, as mentioned I believe on t'other thread.
  5. Yes, have to after I shave, cos afterwrdas the skin on me fizzer is tighter than a nuns chuff. Just use plain old Simple, appropraite fer me really.
  6. Yup I reckon its him then, I think he still does teach, stops for a chat on the way to his seat, I'll print it out and ask him.
  7. Talking of girl things, watched the finale of NYPD Blue last night, so had to sit through the adverts. Why do all these skin creams and such have to have ridculous ingrediants. Andi McDowell is using something with, and I wrote it down, pro-rectumall and pro-crapstyl, but I could see my way clear to forgiving her. Then there's some "cellebratty make up editor" or some such tell y'all to use oil of ulay or is it olay these days with polypropentapeppotarts in it, I mean :sign0094: Then they advertise Yakult, invented by Dr Schroder, so why is it called Yakult and not Schroder, wasn't he as confident as Doctors Kellog, Snickers and CurlyWurly? Oh and there was a thingy in Barbara Ellens Observer mag collumn about men with bosoms, ie moobs, well iof thats the case why are ladies norks not called woobs then? This is what comes of 5 minute advert breaks on E4. Anyway after all that adios Sipowitz (Dennis Franz has been brilliant) and Co, despite Channel 4's best efforts (showing one season at 1am etc etc) I've enjoyed NYPD from start to finish.
  8. Not a bad line up that, although perhaps messrs Wood, Hurst and Halom were getting towards their sell by date. Don't think it was that good a game, remember being dead disappointed cos we lost, thought we'd batter 'em and have a cup run like we'd had the previous season, ho hum.
  9. But is it Covy in the cup I got another one, not scanned yet, but it ties in with FITC 3 as archived, I'll save it until this is done, its the only reasonable one in the 78/79 homes.
  10. Excellent Rummy I haven't got that far yet 79/80 innit, and I'm not sure if that bloke doesn't sit near us in the Chaddy, maybe me, I'll ask 'er indoors what she thinks. Jan 5th, and without looking would that be Coventry in the FA Cup?? When John Platt, I think, threw the ball straight to Tommy Hutchinson for an easy goal. Oh and I'm sure Harold Wilsons there, towards top right !
  11. Bugger me I think I'd better mail that to him, he'll want it framed
  12. Few things there Mac.......... I did not mither you, merely pointed out it was 'ere and a scrote free zone, and as such perhaps you could get her indoors to sign up for this one As for your lucky break, you only went fer to get Gary Linekers autograph, admit it As for being mascot something far more important happened that day, your Dad actually attended a game, of his own free will, but as he's never been back you must have put him off Doesn't the rambling normally come with the bacardi and coke ?
  13. Could be worse, could have been Ron Weasley couldn't it, ginger pubes in all their glory
  14. The more the merrier I say, really enjoyed looking back through that old stuff cos its a very long time since I last did, like I say I'll keep trawling season on season, I have every home programme since 77/78 to look through mind. Anything thats a bit different or makes me laugh, like them face in the crowds I'll post individually, talking of which............
  15. Would you like me to scan it for you Jimi Although I'm sure its out and about on t'interweb somewhere.
  16. Ok will do, I'm looking through 78/79 home progs at the mo, they went up to 15p from 12p but the picture content was drastically cut, in fact pretty much non existant, disgraceful imo . Don't think it'll make a slide show, but we'll see.
  17. Nice one Rummy, great tune too You up for some more if I continue me trawl?
  18. Anyhow, I may well have a new face in the crowd, taken the following season, from what looks like the same spot, circled man is certainly in it, and this time so is Sipowitz, watch this space.
  19. First that irish bloke now Terry Scott BT, you sure.
  20. >>> LOOK BACK WITH STIPEY <<< I hope you liked that bit of nostalgia! Results 77/78 Final table 77/78 (ish)
  21. I do so apologise G, but how'd you think I felt, 7am and I just bitten off a chunk of Kingsmills finest I agree BT very unwizardly like behaviour
  22. Aye well it has been in mine for a week or so. Like I said with Martin Nuttall things, sorting stuff out, de cluttering and all that, but it now means me treasured hoard of programmes is within easy reach, just started flicking through them. That pic is however from one of the Stewart Beckett books, and that is me, way back then, I'll dig me first season ticket out, Green block row F I think it was, next to us was Grey block, then a little fence that kept us apart from the dearer centre section of the Main Stand. Anyway trawling through them 77/78 programmes I found a few good images, added a couple from books and I'll post them later in the Media bit. Whilst I'm on, a very disconcerting thing happened this morning, having some crumpet, for me breckie like, and flicking through yesterdays Observer magazine, eeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, Harry Potters pubes, on show :sick2:
  23. Always a delay on Latics world, but we're fortunate to be able to pick up 1350AM which is the hospital broadcast, so it be "live" Its usually about 30 to 40 seconds
