  1. They won't. But obviously not. I think if we win we will jump 3 or 4, I had taken other games into account.
  2. I'd rather a draw tonight. If someone HAS to win then Shrews please.
  3. You are surmising. I'm telling you what he has said. If it as it is said, it's disrespectful.
  4. I seriously doubt that. But if so, then if McLaughlin is going to sit on the bench for NI then we should make a serious request that he is not called up. He is very, very important to us at the moment.
  5. He was being ridiculous when he made it. Predicting 5 points from 11 games with our form over the period since Sheridan arrived was somewhat silly.
  6. Why does the NI manager think it is ok to take McLaughlin to likely sit on the bench, admitting it is a problem for Latics given our position, but then think it isn't ok to take a Sheff Utd player for the same game because it wouldnt be fair with them going for promotion? I would argue we are in much more need and will miss the player far more. Stinks a bit doesn't it? http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-united/sheffield-united-michael-o-neill-explains-daniel-lafferty-decision-1-8433194 Daniel Lafferty has been placed on stand-by for Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Norway later this month after Michael O’Neill, the Group C hopefuls’ manager, admitted he did not want to interrupt Sheffield United’s push for promotion from League One. http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/international/michael-oneill-is-urging-mclaughlin-to-prove-he-has-the-quality-to-shine-at-a-higher-level-35520626.html "His club situation is that he will miss a game on Saturday which is far from ideal as Oldham are fighting to stay in the division but the experience of their difficult season and change of manager has made it a bit of a baptism of fire in terms of consistently playing first-team football but we have watched him quite a bit and I'm keen to see more of him."
  7. Dammit. Only one more point in the next 8 games. How depressing...
  8. Not sure why people think our form will collapse. This league is actually quite even and we have nothing to fear.
  9. Dean Holden is a terrible coach or very unlucky. His record speaks for itself.
  10. Why have you deflected by shifting the debate? Why not respond to the original point I picked you up on. You said you would wait and see if we are in league 1 before buying, I say it doesn't make any difference to whether I get a ticket or not. So are you doing it give more money to the club because you're a great guy or no money to the club if we get relegated?
  11. I can't believe it makes any difference to some if we are in league 1 or 2. I'll renew whichever, thus I'll renew now to save some cash. You see... crazy I know... I'm a supporter. :censored:ing weird huh?
  12. Agreed. But if Shez stays, as he has promised, then I think we can attract a striker. Our defence is solid although obviously we may have a goalkeeping issue, we just miss a decent goal scorer and some midfield guile. I shall be renewing and hoping the very very obvious problems are addressed.
  13. How so? I'm just realistic enough to know that many man u fans (and most prem fans) couldn't stomach supporting a team like ours. I know lots and they always say the same regardless of whether a team at our level plays well or not... "how can you watch this every week", "tiny crowd isn't it". Prem supporters base enjoyment on having to have won the game (because its an expectation) and having a bigger crowd than their rival. Good luck to them, but that's not for me.
  14. I ask again, what was your point? That sone united 'fans' didn't enjoy a trip to a relegation battle on a grey day in march at an old league 1 ground. I'm :censored:ing astounded.
  15. May I suggest a change of name for you on this site. The irony is too embarrassing.
  16. We are in a relegation battle. You are being a bit naive.
  17. What's your point? That the team deliberately had an off day to piss you off and put off your United supporting mates. There is no way a United fan is going to pay to watch league 1 on a regular basis. They don't understand sport, they only understand being associated with success.
  18. He grabbed the ball. So it is either a yellow for diving or a yellow for grabbing hold of the ball. Very simple. The one on Ripley was a yellow, minimum.
