The two positions are not mutually exclusive. Shez went for money 100% and Evans wanted the Forest job. Looks like it may backfire on Shez and it did backfire on Evans. Good.

Absolutely no basis or evidence for this rumour is there? The Dale forum is awash with holier than thou pious posters who have a real downer on Bury and less so Oldham, sneering our way on a regular basis. Many of them still think it's Clarkes fault that their lovely young man up front committed assault. Their club never does anything wrong, their players are all angels, Hill is a lovely modest man and their explayers all want to come back to Spotland for their last season. Deluded. Pinch of salt

Not misleading at all. We aren't a hire and fire club. Never have been. If the table was for turnover of managers it would obviously look different. But that is sometimes the clubs fault and sometimes the fault of managers on a career charge regardless of loyalty or professionalism.

The main three for me were Dieng, Palmer and Gerrard. Two of which we couldnt have kept regardless of our approach. Palmer wasn't ours and Dieng was in demand. The other has been replaced by arguably a better player. A punt on Main too, but I fear he wouldn't have delivered longer term. He was out to prove a point.

I'd need a manifesto before I'd sign up. Yes I'm serious. If this is to be done it needs to be done properly or forget it.
