  1. which is all conjecture.... Looks more and more like getting a better salary from a mate to me.
  2. If this is simply about personal terms then I think quite a few here should wind their necks in. Corney AND Sheridan agreed a contract relatively recently. It is not Corney's fault that Sheridan as had his head turned for a bigger contract at, what appears to be, a club in an even more shabby state than ours and who go through managers like there is no tomorrow. The Notts County Forum cant believe Sheridan is even interested, let alone actually going there.
  3. Fancies a challenge my arse He was happy with his lot two weeks ago, particularly after we took him for a dead end job at Newport, but now has been offered more money. That's it, pure and simple. :censored: him.
  4. I am more inclined to think that actually. Poor. Very poor.
  5. "No approach form Notts County" OAFC "its a done deal" NCFC great innit.
  6. You and I know it isn't that easy. If someone wants to leave... they will leave. So much for all the chest badge slapping and unfinished business horse :censored:.
  7. He has just (JUST) happily signed a 3 year deal and been hyping us for the play offs for next year in the last few weeks. You are off the mark this time blaming the board.
  8. I agree. How can Notts County afford compensation? Why would you leave to go to a club in a transfer embargo? Why drop a league to a struggling League 2 club after bigging up the play offs here? So many questions. Repeating the obvious, but football has no integrity and every one involved is a :censored:... very disillusioned. Who'd be an owner.
  9. Appointed to Notts County apparently. BBC reporting. :censored:ing disgrace.
  10. So it all starts to come out. The Bolton 'buyout' was a joke. As I pointed out earlier in the thread. http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php/topic/48610-sheridan-bolton-leeds/page-6#entry845905
  11. and Sheridan hasn't been responsible for spending a penny of it yet and it wasn't his team and we were on our arse and and and.... He worked a miracle every bit as good as what Hill has 'achieved' this season at Dale, no question.
  12. So you are interested in the subject then? Make your mind up.
  13. I wouldn't. I'd say they are very similar, with Shez pipping it. Shez's performance equates to a similar season total with a squad he didn't create or know that was on its arse and in meltdown. Our budget wont be much different to theirs, lets see how it pans out next year, if Hill is still there that is.
  14. Why? They ended up with nothing. Just like us. Arguably, our season was more exciting actually, we pretty much had 20 cup games from January. They flattered to deceive in that they never had a hope in hell of the play offs, despite the hype. Lost one less game than us. Could easily have been very different from them, and next year I think it will be... Keith Hill or no Keith Hill.
