    Decent performance? perhaps... but we can't defend and we have lost 5 out of 6! The club needs to wake up to the fact that we ARE in a relegation battle despite what Simon said in the GMR interview. We need a new voice in that dressing room. Holden isnt manager material yet imo, he doesnt look it or sound it.

    er, we were in the Premier League. Those levels of crowds were short lived. To suggest it was the norm was bogus. I've checked... in the 30 years since 1984 we have averaged more than 10k just 4 times, the year before promotion and the prem years. On the other hand, we have averaged less than 6k on 16 occasions.

    it cant be done on a full price that gets dicounted when the numbers incresse... that wont work. People wont commit to it. It has to be done the opposite way. So it starts at £100 and gets more expensive if the numbers taken up aren't high enough. BUT you would have to allow people to back out should it get too high. So someone can commit knowing they wont have to pay more than £100 if they dont want to.

    I dont think just registering an interest would cut it, what if those that register dont actually pay up. It would have to be pay up front on the understanding an extra payment may be required if not enough are sold at the cut price or alternatively if you cant afford the higher price then you can take a refund. Basically, no obligation either way.

    They have a contract with Bolton to cover all games I believe... stinks for a public service broadcaster to be in the pocket of one club imo.

    Paul: "We had 5 figure crowds 30 years ago...." no we didnt! Got a programme here from 1983... 3,802 v shrwsbury, 3,264 v Charlton, 4,211 v Carlisle. Two over 10k are Newcastle United and Leeds United. Average is probably about 7k.

    Simon always comes across great imo. Honest and clear. Almost break even, stadium costing £6m and will be ready for start of next season, key players on 2 year contracts. its not all bad is it? Intelligent and honest responses on the Ched Evans matter too.

    Not particularly happy. Terrible timing. To see out the season here would have been the right thing to do. I also think he may be rather over estimating his own capabilities... ie he isnt anywhere near as good as he thinks he is. I obviously now hope Barnsley get relegated and we do them at our place.
