  1. Nailed on he'd stay if given a reasonable offer. He wont move out of the area.
  2. They get no vocal support at home except when we score so wont make much difference plus it didnt help at Dale. I wont be going as I dont want to give a rival money when they are outspending most of the league as it is. I'll put the £23 towards this weeks massage.
  3. Dear me, will we be able to add all the things we need to make money 365 days of the year i.e. offices, food, etc etc? What is the point of building on a site so small that any expansion or add ons would require moving again. This move is about more than just 4 stands and a football pitch. We need a ground that is making money to cover the losses the football side makes.
  4. Could it be that we are skint, may be playing at Churchill Playing Fields next season and there fore won't be able to offer the tea lady a deal for next year never mind a highly paid player?
  5. If Carroll is worth £35 million then Pele must still be worth £10 million, floppy dick or not.
  6. Info from a prem club scout is he'd not leave Oldham so people stopped bothering to look at him. This scout claimed he was 24 hours from signing at Sheff Utd at one point but pulled out as he loves the club. Can see us using this to pull in bigger clubs, he won't want to play against us next season in league 1 so he won't be going to those mongs at Scunny.
  7. Seems to half put half a yard of pace on as well. He'll do well to keep Morais out of the side though.
  8. Some morons have talked bollocks about Feeney on here when he hasn't had a decent run to get match fit. He's had a few games on the trot and he is playing better. As has been said possibly MOM if he'd have stayed on. Feeney is great at holding the ball up and that meant Tonks was 1-1 with the other centre and battered him. No centre half in this league can handle his pace and power, Feeney has the know how and guile. Taylor on the left, Morais on the right and those two up top, playoffs here we come.
  9. Is there not poor families in the North West that could do with the donation? I know refuge and asylum seeking families would love these. Not too keen on all these do gooders going overseas to help the disadvantaged. They tend to be the bed wetting type who get all preachy when they get back. If you want to help someone without a house or some downy kids then there are plenty in need of help in your local area, no need to travel a 1000 miles. Just an excuse for a holiday in my book.
  10. Why don't we get Feeney match fit before writing him off? He's hardly had a run in the team. Given a run of 4 or 5 games I think he'd out score Taylor. 15 mins here and there isn't exactly going to get the best out of him and it can't help when someone as poor as Kelly seems to get the nod ahead of him.
  11. I believe the figs of 7k and 1.5k are correct from a member of staff at Sunderland. Sunderland nicked Mvoto from PSG so had to pay him to come over.
  12. Calm down love, perhaps having Lomax on the bench would have meant 3 point v's yeovil. Might be a handy thing if Lee is still struggling with his arse.
  13. Anyone who thinks Kelly has a good first touch is mental. He has plenty of good points but he can't control the ball. Just watch his first touch and you'll notice if he's in a tight spot he'll lose the ball.
  14. Hazell has no leadership qualities whatsoever (see the players attitude, fight and spirit last Tuesday and at Dale). I can see Trotman and Mvoto being the 1st choice within a few weeks. Evina at the back instead of Black, White on the left and Taylor on the right, sorted.
  15. I'd have to say Kelly is one of the worse strikers we have had, his first touch is dire. Why Dickov doesn't bite the bullett and get Feeney match fit I don't know. Get Feeney in the side for 3 or 4 matches and we'll have the other striker we need. He can't be judged on brief spells off the bench, unlike Kelly who's first touch would be :censored:e no matter what.
  16. Apart from that they were great ha ha. Sooner Hazell is dropped the better. There is more leadership in Gregans left bollock than in Hazells whole body. Give Furman the armband and get Trotters in.
  17. The email sent out had all the peoples email addresses on it. All you need is a name is collect the ticket, thats all I am saying.
  18. Anyone know if we can nip in during the day to collect the ticket? Save on joining a massive line seen as I am working near there tomorrow. I emailed Billy or whatever he is called and he hasn't bothered to email me back.
  19. He was in year 10 at Breeze Hill so hardly Latics trying to pull a fast one.
  20. I'm a Latics fan, wouldn't have been going to the game but now me and 3 mates are going as we will be using our mates city ST's. Thats £40 they wouldn't have got. Same goes for the bring a friend for a fiver promotions.
  21. Failsworth or die I reckon. Just hope the council see what is needed and push things through. If it helps the perky lady at the ticket office has made me more likely to be buying a ticket for this weekend. Gravity can't touch them.
