  1. Might be worth £5 as he seems to be in the mix up. Have they got him in the odds Mr Pimp?
  2. Would have good likes with Arsenal and one of the best England players of his generation. Would be more attractive than Gray I would imagine. Its not all about getting the crowd in otherwise they'd appoint Lolly Badcock as manager.
  3. Been too busy to post this before, was at the club yesterday buying the new kit and Oldham's finest ever footballer David Platt was there. He was smartly dressed and when I asked him why he was here he just laughed and said no comment. Has there been any odds on him? Anyone else see him? His head is even bigger in real life. Would he fit the bill? I know he has TV work but maybe he fancies another crack at management.
  4. On half the wage of last season, good deal shame he didn't take the 2 years on offer.
  5. Gannon was never quoted as saying he will be applying did he? I wouldn't take the chrons word to the bookies. Bunn was 16/1 around the time the chron ran his advert. I would like to think Speed is in the hat but I think finance would have a huge bearing on that. The more I think about it the more I think we will be stuck with Gray.
  6. Loads of people on here know things. Its usually f**k all like but at least they know something.
  7. I would think 3 days would be more than long enough to work through a reported 40 odd names wouldn't you? There is more chance of Fat Gordon winning rear of the year than this appointment going into June.
  8. He might not be on it. If advertising your application in the chron meant you got an interview I would think some of the dole scum of Oldham might give it a go.
  9. I would imagine a back page story saying he is in for it and the following bets from people who read it have seen his price fall. I doubt he is going to be anywhere near getting the job. Rumours are he isn't even on the shortlist. He has no experiance of league 1, running a club on a tight budget or being a manager. Gray is more qualified for the post than Bunn and would be a cheaper choice. (I want Gannon and would prefer Bunn to Gray) If Dowie is on the back page of tonights chron saying he is applying his odds will drop as well. If 16/1 tempted enough numptys to lay £20 on him then it was probably a great move to have him that high. I think its Gannon or Speed if they want to spend a bit on the squad if not, and its just cutbacks with no outlay, it will be Gray sadly.
  10. Can you read? They haven't appointed anyone yet, they should have sound like they have drawn up a shortlist for the job though.
  11. Thats not right otherwise every young player we release we can offer minmum wage, they say no and when they sign elsewhere we'd get compo eg the wolf. If we offer less than current deal then we lose the right to compo.
  12. The last few months when he was actually given a run in the team you mean? Dear me.
  13. If Lee doesn't get another deal I swear I am going to seagull TTA's next time I see them.
  14. Pointless question of the week. If we appointed Kenny Dalglish would people be happy with this appointment?
  15. I'm not a fan of relationships with little boys so I am going to give it a miss.
  16. Rubbish, as an impact sub Walcott is the best. Over 90 mins Lennon is the better bet. Decent two to have but I can't help but think neither is match fit and it would be a risk to take both unless Capello is sure they can last the tournament.
  17. Joe Cole will go, never let England down and I think Capello likes him. Plus he can play either side. "People who think Johnson is (currently) better than SWP are the same morons who think Bellamy is a better player thank Robinho." From my city supporting mate. I can see Johnson getting the cut and one of Walcott or Lennon. Fitness may mean Fabio has to pick SWP and choose one of Walcott or Lennon.
  18. With rules regarding home grown players coming in (I think), if they are not already here, does this not mean that teams that couldn't afford say a £750k punt on Taylor will now be able to? (I know he isn't near that value at the moment but he probably was at some point) I know its not great in many aspects but hopefully it will see more money being spent by English teams on English players. If Latics had a shed load of cash we'd be raiding the cream of league two, not spain, perhaps the same will happen here. Eaves is on the radar for many teams if one of the teams who benefit from this fancy him they can blow us away with an offer they would perhaps before have seen as a gamble. That can be both good and bad, money in but decent players moving on. Teams have got into the prem on a shoe string and done ok and the same could be done after this deal. Who would have thought Stoke would still be in the prem with the side they took up? Its going to be tough but I don't think this means survival in the championship is a no no for the smaller league 1 sides.
  19. I think its great that Remploy let people surf the web during work hours.
  20. He is a coach for Huddersfield Town at the moment (think its youth level) having left a job at a primary school in Saddleworth. He may well have put his name in the hat but has already been said he has attended many matches so his attendance on Saturday doesn't mean anything.
  21. If your the type of girl who asks no questions and has a high pain tolerance I think there will be some specialist work for you, PM for details.
  22. Isn't he a jew as well? Could be a good shout. I can sort the massages out no problem. If underdog or Avram want to chat to me about massage parlours PM me.
  23. Just managed to read all that, dear me, can't believe Oldham Athletic have so many thick fans they actually believe the :censored:e the Daily Mail prints.
  24. Target your audience, very wise. Keep the funny stuff for impressing guys on chatroulette.
