From what I am hearing our only wow player may be on his way over the hills in the next week or two. Sheff Wednesday have come calling for the ginger prince of springhead. Also by a wow signing are we saying 'wow he's good' or 'wow we really are fuc*ed, he's gash'.

Season ticket holder for 20 years (pretty good seen as I am 27). Enough spare cash as the moment but will not be getting a season ticket. In fact of all the latics fans I know I can't think of one who is. The club is on its arse. The team is going to be loaded with journey men with less quality than last season and we are going to have a less talented group of players than last year. Not what I want to see. Hopefully Taylor will stay and Smalley will reach the levels I think he can but the names being linked with us are pants. Lets be honest who would sign for us if they are any good anyway? We aren't going anywhere but backwards. The moment they let a commited, consistent and whole hearted player like Mark Allott leave was the moment I decided I wouldn't be getting one.

Gutted, one of two players who I felt gave a :censored: and tried his heart out this season. If Taylor goes I can't see us having any players I'd want to pay to watch. Will be interesting to see who comes in, takes time to gel whoever they are and I predict a slow start to the season. Can see a big struggle next season.

I find it laughable to suggest he would be challenging for the Ireland number one spot when they have one of the best keepers the country has ever seen in. I hope they go up as they play attractive football, have a decent(ish) ground and are ambitious. I'm not bothered where they came from to get here. The only issue I had with it all was the massive move in distance for the fans. If some multi millionaire wanted to buy us and create Tameside Athletic, moved ground to Ashton (within distance of Oldham) and pumped in loads of cash I'd jizz my knickers. If things stand still they crumble and waste away.

I hope Leeds go up alongside one of Mk Dons and Peterborough. Tramere, Scunthorpe and Millwall won't be as strong as those three next season (due to funds) so would prefer us to have to play them rather than 2 of those 3. Fair play to MK and Peterborough a decent amount of cash spent on young exciting talent (especially Peterborough) has almost got them two promotions on the bounce. I didn't support Wimbledon so couldn't give a toss about the franchise nonsense. If the yanks did it to United or Liverpool most of us would piss ourselves.
