  1. Finally, the strikers... might give us an indication of who we think has played well and under performed this season and how much change we want at the club.
  2. I think you probably know the drill by now Ladies and Gents...
  3. Particularly under Johnson recently, there has been an improvement in the number of chances we've had since he took over. Only scored 46 goals, 3 of them came against Hartlepool, 2 against Crawley... how many goal droughts have we had?!
  4. Give him a trial, see how he plays, if he's no good... Au Revoir.
  5. Is there other leagues? What are the implications of this, more money or?
  6. Liverpool Wigan Barnsley Blackpool Huddersfield Sheffield Wednesday Bury Crewe Notts County Tranmere Accrington Chesterfield Rochdale Stockport Mansfield Not that many... hopefully do some more in the next coming seasons! Best: Huddersfield [For Atmosphere and it is a generally nice ground] Worst: Chesterfield [Main Stand wooden benches, real football?]
  7. Think this is my favourite away game so far. Will live long in the memory that Eyresy free kick! This is the reason i hate Keith Curle, dirty bastard.
  8. I'd buy it myself if i was one of them... Momento isn't it.. frame it too!
  9. I quite liked that kit last night, i must say...
  10. It was BBC Radio Shropshire, so was bias but i thought they were fair overall. Amazing how a game can be seen in different ways.
  11. From listening before, the only players that did well were John-Yves M'voto and Kirk Millar. Commentators were far from impressed with Baxter, who they said was off key and produced nothing. Full of praise for JYM though, said he could have a future higher up judging on when they've seen him this season. All in all, good exercise for getting rid of players that we don't want or need. Nice to see LJ furious that we didn't pick anything up from what was essentially a nothing game.
  12. Mike Keegan has tweeted that LJ has said tonight has "Confirmed a lot of things I already knew." Interesting, could link to who's probably leaving this summer! Matt Chambers has also tweeted... LJ not happy, at all, with that from his players. Chance to impress for some emphatically not taken. #oafc
  13. Sounded like the first half against Crawley transfered over... #Boring
  14. M'Voto happy to stay, according to his interview on the website. This is a must for me if it's possible.
  15. Depends on the extent of change. With fundamentally the same squad, i'd expect a higher finish than if it was almost a completely new squad that probably needs a season to gel properly and to find their feet. I expect it will probably be the latter - High Mid-Table.
  16. Not seen the incident... Is it as bad as Mike Tyson?
  17. Disappointing seasons for both teams. Theirs more disapointing because of where they were. Ours more because of the position we're in. No need to compare really... i'd take Bournemouths season though if you're offering that?
  18. Sucessful scheme? A debatable subject and the results will be seen over the coming years. Short Term, it can be seen as succesful as it had brought more kids through the gates, money wise, i don't know wether we've lost, broke even and made profit on these offers, that's one Barry could answer for us. However, there have been a number of incidents this season which suggest that it may have been a bad thing... The hair burning incident, Pitch invasion both on Tuesday and Today and then the CTFC supporters coach getting trashed. These incidents are unacceptable and should never happen at BP (Pitch invasion only when we win somat) Long Term, yet to be seen, as early as August we'll see with the figures how many have stayed on for 5x the price, presuming it's going back up to £50.
  19. Act like knobs get treated like knobs. Criticised the stewarding at Latics many a times, usually for enforcing sitting in the RRE middle section... However, they did their best today for the situation, especially when there wasn't many of them. Whatever anyone says about the matter, the hard facts are that going on to the field of play is a criminal offence and can be prosecuted, if the powers that be chose to do so. It is wrong, especially when it is mid-game. In my opinion, a pitch invasion at the end of the season, after the final whistle is normal and it happens every year - however, these 'kids' were knobs today and took it too far. I'm kind of glad the £10 ST has been pulled because it will keep some of these t*ats away from Boundary Park.
  20. Not a Simpson fan and wouldn't offer him a contract. Never been the same player since he signed permanently for us, bar the cup games. Time to move Simmo, whether that be upwards or downwards.
