We've got enough to stay in this league - just. IF we did go down though - the blame couldn't just be focused at one person - it's a collection of factors that will have cost us. Dickov has to take some of the blame - shortsightedness in games, lack of substitutions and lack of tactical awareness has cost us many times this season - however, moments of brilliance do occur in games - the Preston game was an example of this - very inconsistent The Players have to take the majority of the blame, they have under-performed massively this season, on paper we were looking like a mid-table, even play-off contenders - but lackluster performances and lack of fire power have cost us this season - the linesmen also chipped in alot with offside decisions going against us alot!

Not with this injury now - looks a serious one, could be months rather than weeks. I'd play 3-4-1-2 with Smith/Taylor up top and Baxter sitting just behind in a more creative role - this leaves the midfield to be more defensive as they have been all season, but covers your attacking side of the game with the extra forward. Alternatively - a 4-4-2 Diamond could be used if you wanted to retain the 4 man defence. Or even 4-3-1-2 with Furman/Wes missing out so again we could retain the 4 man defence. Theres plenty of options there, but Dickov won't use them.

He'd only take it with the guarantee of a job if it went tits up i think. Don't see the problem doing that though, just put him back in the youth set up and everyone's happy again! Been calling for TP for years, but now is his time i think!

You haven't rained on the parade, you've pissed all over it... Surely you recognise how much effort Dux put into his job over the 15 years he was here on and off. I think he has been brushed aside with the other two, probably through little fault of his own. Would have kept him personally, consistancy is key sometimes - however i trust SC on this one, Dux is even said to be suffering some hard times at home too. All the best Lee - you scored in the first game i watched at BP against Blackpool in '01.. forever remembered as a legend in the two seasons i saw you!

He'll have been more of a mate to them than a coach - maybe rightly so when doing fitness, but as a first team coach he should've demanded respect. Let's hope the new man stamps his authority straight away.
