  1. I suspect that many teams haven't had a bigger turn over of players than us. Like i said, he deserves the chance to turn it round with it being so early in the season.
  2. We have changed the squad and lost arguably our two best players plus a striker who got 17 goals last term. It takes time for a squad to mould and for the new players to settle in. Obviously, the last few games have been dire but one thing i am optimistic about is that PD will change it within the next few games - theres no way in hell that he can't get a response out of the side, surely! Like Andy says - if the situation is no different 10 games in, change the manager, get some experience in and he can use the loan market to tie the squad over until January when he'd be able to get his own players in. Who would we go for? i'm not sure, Peter Reid has been brought up but personally, i wouldn't choose him.
  3. i'm not optimistic that we'll win anything. i'm not optimistic that we'll finish better than last season. i'm just saying it's going to be jumping the gun sacking Dickov at this stage.
  4. Just seen on tele that Reading lost 5 on the spin at the start of last season and went on to win the Championship title - stick with PD.
  5. Just looked, they're hosting the cup so we could lose him.. Knowing Dickov he'll bring in a premierleague nobody to fill the gap.
  6. could lose him to the cup of nations if he impresses and they qualify.
  7. Scrap it. The FA Cup is the best one though - love watching the non-league teams in the first few rounds.
  8. 2001-2012 - i would say i was a 7 - never missed a home game and went to the occasional local away game, bought home/away shirts every season plus, dvd's and whatever else was on offer. Now - erm, 3, i try to make it when i can, but with work it's difficult.. have bought a home shirt though which probably boosts my rating. Won't attend any away games (i think)
  9. He's only 45! Wow, i honestly thought he was older than that - this just shows how much you missed when you wern't born until '94 Anyway, it'd be a risk and one that i wouldn't want us to take at this stage - we need experience.
  10. Wouldn't say he was crap. Young and wasn't up to standard most games, had some brilliant games too though.
  11. Must be mistaking it for the main stand. It was rocking until Thomas :censored: Moore scored that penalty.
  12. Atmosphere was great for his first game V Tranmere Big Fat Joe's Barmy Army!
  13. Look at the managers records, they speak for themselves... Dickov - 32 wins in 109 games - 29.4% Penney - 13 wins in 48 games - 27.1% Sheridan - 61 wins in 151 games - 40.4% Moore - 23 wins in 65 games - 35.4% Talbot - 20 wins in 55 games - 36.4% Dowie - 31 wins in 82 games - 37.8% Wadsworth - 15 wins in 35 games - 42.9% Ritchie - 59 wins in 179 games - 33.0% Warnock - 22 wins in 69 games - 31.9% Sharp - 35 wins in 117 games - 29.9% Speaks for itself? i think so.
  14. Wouldn't mind seeing Andy Ritchie back at the club, he got sacked within a month of me starting coming to games - bad times.
  15. Winchester. Should win player of the season already.
  16. Should have ended. I don't think you can put multiple clauses on, so it would be for so many sales etc i'd expect we have a 20% sell on clause, if not we're feckin stupid.
  17. Broady seems to be hopeful on Twitter Reply Retweet Favorite 9mDavid Broadbent ‏@Broadystar Sky linking villa with Dale Stephens, interesting development! #oafc
  18. apologies mate, he should be given 10 games to prove himself anyway!
  19. Head says 5 or 6 new players? That aint gonna happen!
