  1. Wait... Times New Roman was in date at one point?!
  2. Simple Idea, take the club on Dragon's Den, ask for x amount of money for a 50% share of the club.. get investment from one of the Dragon's and happy days. Seriously though, pitch them the idea of building a stadium that generates income so that the club is self sustaining and that it in fact makes a profit to deliver to it's shareholders.. With the new stand in place, you already have new revenue streams set up and then get some 5 a side pitches going and stick a cinema and bowling somewhere and we're on to a winner.. Thanks for listening, are you in, or out? (Yes, it is 1 in the morning and i am mad)
  3. Christ i've seen it all now... Lighten up or don't rise to it. Ritchie wasn't looking for people to rise, and i think his post was humouress, in a Frankie Boyle dark sort lf way... 'He plays on the left, He plays on the righttttttttt, oh Ian Huntley...' Anyway - on the topic of Hughes, in pure football reasons i would have had him in my team straight away, a striker that will easily bag 15 goals without breaking a sweat, everyone knows that he knows where the net is and finds it on countless occasions. On the other hand, he comes with his off the field baggage and left latics in a bad light, the apparent dog's incident basically ending his career here, not to mention later antics with AH, for that reason, as they say in the den, i'm out.
  4. normally has HTP500 error for me, but i have the same problem!
  5. I always thought he was a RB, but welcome to BP Cliff!
  6. PD will walk before he is pushed.. and will be the first manager to do so under TTA? apart from Dowie initially Talbot - Sacked Moore - Sacked, perhaps regretably Sheridan - Sacked, again regretably Royle - just intrim Penney - Sacked Bad record with managers over the past 8 years, however i'd go as far as saying PD is the best manager out of them lot - even though Shez has a good first season. I think PD is well up for the challenge again this year but another struggle may just see him walk, on the contray to many previous managers who's relationship with SC became strained, PD seems to have a good relationship with the board, even when he twists their arm for money.
  7. FIFY Good footballer though, such a waste of talent really, i reckon he could have been one of Englands stars of he kept out of trouble, oh well...
  8. Doesn't it only apply to competitive matches? Probably wrong...
  9. Capacity isn't important.. i'd love to know the last time BP was full? City at Home in the cup? Celebration Sunday? Get the 7 day a week income rolling in, pay back the money for building the stand and then complete the stadium. Unfortunatley, can see the main stand being pulled by the health and safety sometime in the next 4/5 years so it really is last chance saloon developing BP now.
  10. i'd love to have a go at contributing.. In particular i know my way around stadium developments and that's always an issue surrounding our club :') Good luck with your venture Pal.
  11. it's promising.. Sounds like he just wants to plough on and get it done now rather than pissing around waiting.
  12. Might have flown one or two out? Looks like a CB, CM, LM and ST. I heard a rumour that Jason Koumas was on trial with us after a year out the game, anyone else heard the same?
  13. First half: Cisak, Brown, Trialist, Tarkowski, Belezika, Furman, Trialist, Winchester, Croft, Trialist, Smith. Second half: Bouzanis, Millar, M'voto, Mellor, Grounds, Trialist, Wesolowski, M'Changama, Hughes, Smith, Taylor.
  14. As far as i know, no-one has or will lodge an official complaint, it would get them no-where anyway...
  15. and it stayed that way until the stand was demolished
