Don't you just love it when Latics fans fight amongst eachother.

Back to today then, we have Tounkara who is a lanky :censored: being honest, and he can't head for :censored:.. so he's useless aswell.. might aswell of had a smaller striker on who might challenge and get his head in where it hurts!

Dickov seemed to do well against defenders and he's only 5' 4"?

Football is a waste of money if you think about it (in the sense that £300 could be spent on other things).. but then we all love it and turn up to cheer on the team each week!

All the evidence we need, we created the chances, won corners, we just need that poacher to finish them off.

Apologies for calling you a :censored:.. But still i'd want people to get behind Dickov, yes he makes mistakes but he's bloody human and has had the job 10 months? He certainly isnt tactically inept and points out that the main problem today was players keeping the ball way too long and being closed down, instead of looking for passes, if you look at the goal of the year you can see that we are a good footballing side and Dickovs tactics worked perfectly when the players put them into practice properly!

I knew you were going to say that as soon as i posted.. i'll re-phrase, we don't want w*nkers who criticize the manager after a 'good' season, even if it has been a season of two halves. Paul Dickov will be aware of the problems we have and isn't 'tactically inept'.. roll on next season i say!

He did, played on the left, Feeney was on the right I'd drop him cause in a word he's :censored:e.

He can probably head a ball better than Tounkara! Feeney was promising against Tranmere(Away), he had a cracker of a game and got an assist if i remember rightly. Alessandra and Feeney upfront next game for me!

Club doesn't need fans like you who don't get behind the manager, alright he may make mistakes but we exceeded all expectations at the start of the season and have hit the earth with a bump, :censored: happens and me move on!

We'd still be there now if we had to score to end the game! Came close though on a few occasions, Ritchie Jones was very unlucky!

Why not? We haven't even seen what Feeney can do this season, yet he gets slagged off so much!

Agree here at the end of the day, we created chances but didn't finish them, most of the other things we did well, we got the ball into good areas on the pitch, Evina, White & Taylor were allowed to get cross after cross in and win corners, we just had no end product. Now i might be 'living in the past' abit here, but Chris Porter would have finished off loads of them chances!

Doherty may be old but he can still do a good job at this level! You call the strikers useless, for Tounkara i will agree, he is simply :censored:e. But for Reid he created good chances and made some good runs, just no end product. Would like to see Feeney again for the final 5 games so he can show us why he's here!

I dont really care pal, but shoving M;voto upfront isnt the answer, if you think so then fair do's.... So a person on the board points out all the changes made and you don't even give a sh*t, would not give you a day as Latics manager, nevermind a season like Dickov's had. Dickov is the man to take us forward, i still believe that. Next season I think we're going to be a real force in League 1 and will be pushing for the play-offs again, if not then you could argue Dickov has had his time and has not proven any real managerial ability. I for one am really looking forward to next season, providing we don't go under in the summer!

Taylors natural position is on the wing, primarily the right if i was the manager, but he can play left. He looks lost in the middle imo!

Without Furman we'd be no-where near as good as we have been, he's the best player imo, he tackles, covers at the back, gets forward and also chips in with some goals, he's the man that we need. Agree on the Lee thing aswell though, he is a very very good talent, he also covers and gets forward from his position, he could also play as a winger if needed aswell so all is good. We NEED to hold onto these two players for next season, along with Taylor and base our squad around them and I think we'll be up there challenging.

Furman has been better and alot more consistent than Stephens this season, and with Stephens leaving i don't think there was any chance of him picking up the award!

I suppose, but you can't blame him, money talks!

Gone for Furman, defiantly a two horse race between him and Lee though, surprised that Stephens hasn't been in with a shout!

Glad i've never seen a successful Latics side as such, maybe i would have 'lost the faith', but to be honest after ten years you get used to League 1 football and i still love going to games week in week out!
