  1. GK: Rachubka LB: Mills CB: Wilson CB: Elokobi RB: Wilson CDM: Kelly LCM: Jones RCM: Winchester LW: Forte ST: Philliskirk RW: Poleon Get Kelly sitting in the holding role and allow the other two to feed the front three. Can't drop Phillskirk either, he's been top quality the past 4 games. Just seen i've gone for the same as mighty_bosh... waste of time typing this out
  2. There's been a few people round us in the RRE that i've never seen before in the past 4/5 seasons we've been sat there. Whether they're newbies or not i'm not sure. Quite a few kids knocking around yesterday too, always good to see with them being the future and all that.
  3. He was alright - I find him quite frustrating to watch at times though. Then again, i'm comparing him to Forte who has bags of pace and likes to get forward as quickly as possible.
  4. I think it's hard to judge him from two games. Against Fleetwood he looked to get into different areas and make an impact. He also had better service than he did today against Gillingham. From watching the game today, I think he would have been better suited to playing on the left wing instead of Dayton. His pace could have been a good thing to use first half, as opposed to Dayton who's lack of pace and inability to beat a full back properly was clear in todays game. Personally, i'd like to see Poleon up front with another striker, possibly the big lad who came on today. Chris Porter would be worth a gamble to put up in a "little and large" combination up top though.
  5. Gillingham came for a 0-0 today and that's what they got. I thought we looked very good and positive first half, created many chances but didn't have that instinctive person to be on the end of a cross or get in the right area. Second half, we looked more negative and cautious, however, Gillingham were set up mpre defensively and looked to stop us passing the ball round as we did in the first half. We looked tired late on. Shame Morgan-Smith couldn't nick it with that chance at the end?
  6. 10 points to you, BP. Wilkinson signs on one-month youth loan. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/20140912-conor-wilkinson-signs-1909677.aspx
  7. Exeter are under a transfer embargo aren't they?
  8. Let's all remember we made him cry a couple of seasons back when we beat them at BP. Happy days.
  9. Take me home, Furtherwood Road... Relax, i'm kidding.
  10. Who? Burnley? Can't imagine there were that many PremierLeague clubs in the queue to get him. Great potential, but so far away from the finished product!
  11. I bet Frankie Bunn could still finish them at this level.
  12. Is this the guy who has been filming the game from the New Stand then?
  13. Could have been anyone really. Great all-round performance.
  14. I agree. Philliskirk has looked good all season, stopped going missing as much in games. Starting to assert himself in the number 10 role and absolutely works his bollocks off for the team. He's obviously not going to be scoring week in week out, but his role of bringing others into play, particularly Forte and Winchester, is vital to our play.
  15. Who do you take out to accomodate him? Certainly wouldn't want to take Poleon out so soon.
  16. Quick mention for Liam Kelly. Looks to be growing into his own in midfield now. Looking better and better game by game. Made one brilliant tackle of note this afternoon, where he stopped their winger bursting forward and then stopped the attack completely with a tactical foul. Hopefully he'll continue to get better as time goes on...
  17. Thought he had a very good game today. Always looking to move the ball on, get it forward and looks like he's not scared to have a shot too. Looks to have a decent football brain in him too. That was always my problem with Clarke-Harris, he looked like he needed a second longer to work out what to do.
  18. Wish they'd get them at their ground and give them a good battering.
  19. Drop in the ocean compared to a one year contract. Smart move, obviously better to have Tidser on loan.
  20. Not quite sure what's gone on, to be honest...
