  1. The main problem with Clarke-Harris is that his brain isn't quick enough to react to what's happening on the field. There were a few incidents last night where he didn't look switched on and when the ball came to him he didn't have a bloody clue what to do with it. From what i've seen so far, we cannot rely on him to be our main striker this season. A new one in soon as possible for me.
  2. There's definitely room for compromise between the fans and the club to allow some sort of standing section. However, chants of :censored: stewards and this club is a :censored:ing joke isn't going to make that happen and only further drives the club away from wanting the change to occur.
  3. Agree with this. Weren't good first half but came into our own in the second. Probably unlucky not to nick it near the end, although Vale were also unlucky hitting the bar and the great save from Rachubka from the free kick. Much better than Saturday though, although still average.
  4. Philliskirk for me. Ran his bollocks off for 90 minutes. No-one stood out again though.
  5. I think the Trust bashing ended a good 4 months ago. Until Barry comes out of hiding again, anyway...
  6. On the flip side, JCH did absolutely nothing all game, nor has done for 3 games. Really hope he can get his head sorted and in the game tomorrow night.
  7. I'd change Kasunga for Wilson, but other than that, looks good enough for me. Will Forte manage two games in a week?
  8. Thought it was CAM. Think i've played too much football manager/fifa, though.
  9. I like the look of Dieng, I think he's worth a go over Kasunga.
  10. But I thought the Athleticos were an organisation who stood for getting 100% behind the team with no negativity. Or, did that change over the course of 90 minutes? Booing after two league games, is pathetic, to be quite honest. Whilst i came away from today disappointed, we weren't all bad. I certainly came away feeling better than I did on Tuesday night. Kelly, whilst he was disappointing in both games i've seen him, will improve as his fitness levels rise. There were a couple of times against Leyton Orient where he showed glimpses of what he looks like he can do, over the next few games he will hopefully start to come into his own and start to assert himself properly in the centre of our midfield.
  11. Smith wasn't all that either, in my opinion. Kelly has had 3 games, not 30, can't judge him properly yet.
  12. Rachubka Wilson Elekobi Wilson Mills Dieng Winchester Kelly Forte JCH Dayton
  13. Highly-regarded in the lower leagues for his playing ability. However, his party lifestyle off the pitch held him back.
  14. Non-Contact terms. Might be a useful addition. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/20140815-david-noble-signs-1830880.aspx
  15. Counting down the weeks until he is forced into saying we will be playing 4-4-:censored:ing-2.
  16. I agree, although the home shirt looks slightly better. I'm hoping that this years kits are bad because they had to be rushed, next seasons will hopefully be better quality - Portsmouths kits look 10x the quality that ours do.
  17. Dieng for me. Although a 'none of the above' would be a clear winner for this poll.
  18. Didn't do anything wrong. He just isn't a wing-back. That's how I see it anyway.
  19. So they can maximise their profit margins on it. Like has been posted, it was a few quid shirt with a badge badly sewn on. Shame really.
  20. If we're playing with wing-backs, Brown. If we're playing 4 at the back, Wilson.
  21. Bus will take around 45-60 minutes depending on traffic. Could take longer depending on how bad Oldham Road is coming out of town, if you're travelling at tea time. Can't comment on the tram, but I assume it'd be quicker.
