  1. Is their ticket office in Northampton? Could be a reason for the lack of ticket sales.
  2. In a more bizarre protest, Blackpool fans threw tennis balls on the pitch to halt the play and shout their annoyance towards Oyston. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26983090
  3. Pray to Jesus for 3 points. That'll make a truly good Friday for all Latics fans!
  4. Colchester 0 - 2 Latics (HT 0-1) Wesolowski 3596
  5. They're one of the teams that give me that hope that we could one day be PremierLeague again. If only for a season like Blackpool. They were one of the most exciting teams to go up too and gave it a right good go, which is what I like to see in a football team.
  6. Just a quick one... Can you pay on card at the ticket office? Going getting Carlisle tickets and coach tickets tomorrow, just wondering if you can pay on card these days? Can't remember the last time I actually bought a ticket...
  7. Lack of investment has killed them, along with Paul Ince and the dramatic down-fall after their game at Yeovil where they finished with 8 men.
  8. Blackpool and Barnsley this best for us to come down. Close away days and will probably bring a decent following to BP. We've got to stay up first though...
  9. Should be on a bank holiday monday. Some of the best away games i've been to... Blackpool 2002 was good, filled out the old crumbling stand on Bloomfield Road.
  10. I find it hard to believe and envisage that the Trust has 701 members... I hope tonight is the kick up the arse the Trust needs to reform and change.
  11. I hear they've toppled Barry and now have their sights on Corney...
  12. I agree, i was just basing on the age of both players. Every player deserves a second chance, somewhere, as long as Plummer doesn't come back to Latics and get's the chance at City (Very unlikely) or another team then fair enough. He may come on and take a lot from his bad experience here.
  13. Yet they released Wabara... Plummer will be the same in two years time.
  14. Too many people crowded into the central pen of the Leppings Lane End, whilst the stand may have been under capacity, that central pen was highly over. The polices failure to shut the tunnel off when it got too crowded was a contributing factor as well as opening the gate. We all know the real root cause is football hooliganism of the late 1970's and 1980's though, all events transpired after this and Hillsborough was in fact an accident waiting to happen. As someone up the threat alluded to, that could well have been the United/Latics semi final a year later. Slightly off topic, me and my mate were talking about it the other day, he said he read that Ken Bates wanted the fences to be electrified, in order to prevent hooliganism and pitch invasions... ridiculous!
  15. Just the seating. Can't see us taking more than 2000.
  16. You can pay on the day but it's 3quid cheaper on all tickets when you buy in advance.
  17. I'm also told he didn't want to go, he was effectively forced out... Still, we now need to move on, like he has.
  18. He's on 3k a week at Brentford. Was on £800 here. From a very reliable source, which might be my first ever.
  19. I'll echo what others have said, someone losing their job isn't something to celebrate. Not exactly gutted for him, but it's a shame that the "rivalry" against him as such has now gone. A scuppered reputation and now it's unlikely that he'll manage again - would anyone touch him with a barge pole?
