  1. Same mate. Not the same over on the 'Dark Side...'
  2. Don't forget, you're encouraged not to sit there though and try a new experience in The Chaddy End...
  3. He said it last year, I wouldn't blame him to be honest. We'll be :censored:ed if we're fan owned though, although, we wouldn't be turning down 'low offers' for the club. I spy a certain Mr Koukash's renewed interest if Corney goes, wouldn't surprise me at all.
  4. To be fair, the majority of fans said trial fans in the Rochdale Road End. Oh well, get my own seat on Saturday!
  5. Well, if you've got a method of buying student tickets that bypasses the buying of a £13 student pass, i'm all ears... Just me being a tight bastard of course... Should have just bought one back in August!
  6. Going to be a very hard game. Many tipped them to go down as they had so many games to play, mostly 2 a week, but, after their enforced break, they've come back refreshed and found some form, bad news for us and everyone around us. It really is a must win for us. If we don't win, I fear for us, I really do. I'd go with this team... Rachubka Brown Wilson Lockwood Grounds Kissock Wesolowski Byrom Harkins Turner JCH Turner and Kissock are a must start for me, if Kissock is fit that is. Turner and MacDonald could also be an option but i'd like to see if Turner can link up with Clarke-Harris up front, might be our saving grace. Isn't the time to be dicking about with the team, but I'll give anything a try now - used 39 players and may even use our 40th if the new lad plays on Saturday.
  7. Him and Kissock (if fit) have to be starters for me on Saturday anyway, showed some of the experienced lads up against Rotherham. More desire to play in them than the others.
  8. Explains why he was so good coming forward from the back with the ball. I'll always remember Liverpool not being able to cope with him when he did it in January.
  9. Sounds that way. Brentford could be travelling in numbers with them being up there, although it is a long way to travel.
  10. Club Statement. Following on from yesterday’s story around the Verlin Stand being closed to home supporters for this Saturday’s visit of Crawley Town we have received a number of phone calls and emails around what is an emotive subject. The players and management team frequently comment on the superb atmosphere generated by our travelling support, particularly in the last two away matches at Tranmere and Crewe, where on both occasions away support has been over 750 and has sounded like considerably more. With this in mind the decision was taken to try and replicate this superb, vocal, support for this Saturday’s game against Crawley Town. It’s a big game and we want to encourage the best possible atmosphere with everyone getting behind the team. We understand that fan relocation can be disruptive for supporters and, for this reason we will ensure that we are considering all options available to us. We are therefore trialing relocation throughout the ground in order to take all eventualities into consideration. We believe that, as an initial trial, it is less disruptive for supporters to relocate from the Verlin Stand, as we ask them to do this on regular occasions over the course of the season. The club apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters who feel strongly about this, however we are hoping that as many of our fans as possible will join together to create a superb atmosphere on Saturday. We recognize that with the building of the new stand there is a wider discussion to be had on locating both home away supporters in the future and supporters will certainly be involved in these discussions and decisions. 11. I'd rather stand on the building site than go in the Chaddy... Seriously though, Chaddy is bottom of the list for me.
  12. Been on BBC Radio Manchester a couple of times too. Column in the Chron every now and then. Suspect he's eyeing the media up for when he retires. As for Late Kick Off, two of our players are doing the quiz feature after.
  13. Came within a whisker of non-existance a couple of times within that time though. We might not be so lucky.
  14. Let's hope we don't end up doing a Rotherham, half a stand built and then end up moving. http://uploadscdn.sportnetwork.net/upload/261/261_0_1293323548.jpg
  15. Even on a micro level it makes you a massive bellend. Well done.
  16. Because in the poll and thread on here, some of those who sit in the Chaddy End currently voted to move to the RRE in order to enhance the atmosphere at Boundary Park, not the other way round. So yes, coming through the gate doesn't exactly give a perfect representative of the issue.
  17. But on a micro-level it may be a representation of what the fans want. We simply don't know, you'd have to poll each and every support coming through the gate to get an accurate view. Obviously the argument that people sit in the Chaddy End is tricky too because some/alot who do sit in there voted that they'd move in the poll. If we're trialling all in the Chaddy and Main, we should trial all in the RRE and Main by the end of the season. I might be wrong, but i'm sure the Football League have rules about having three stands, i'm not sure whether that means three stands open on a Matchday however.
  18. Been reading a few posts and I've been thinking about Season Tickets now and next season. Just wanted to have a couple of quick questions to see where we're up to regarding Season Tickets and importantly I want to see what effect relegation (Let's hope it doesn't come to it) would have on Season Ticket sales. I've made the poll public so we can see the change in members between questions. Don't sit on the fence, take the poll as if you could buy a season ticket right now on those presumptions in the poll.
  19. Exactly. No :censored:'s given about ST holders now, but in 8 weeks we'll all be bombarded by the appeal for money and as you said how we'll have a reduced budget etc.
  20. I sit in the RRE. More sparsely populated than I thought, feels like there is more people in there when you're sat there.
  21. Season Ticket holders paid their money nearly a year ago. Club doesn't give a :censored: about them for another 12 months until they go on sale again. Then we'll get Corney coming out saying we need fans etc etc. How about treat your existing customers right before you appeal to others. Shockingly, I'm thinking of getting a Season Ticket again next season, after not having one for two years, must be mad.
  22. Totally agree, but that's what is it. Would be different if Crawley were bringing 2000.
  23. I bet there were more people in the RRE than the Chaddy End that night, though.
  24. A home game against play-off contenders Preston is going to create a different atmosphere to that of relegation-contenders Crawley. Can tell you that before a fan even steps into the ground. Leave it as it is. Johnson concentrate on getting the lads playing :censored:ing good football and Winning Games rather than dicking about with the fans. The atmosphere will follow.
