  1. Yeah, read between the lines, putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. I wouldn't want Salford, and i don't think the powers that be would have allowed it.
  2. I'd love to know what money SC actually has and what he actually puts into the club. Blitz was supposedly the money man in the takeover. I think the cup cash in particular has saved us from the drop the last couple of seasons. However, it might not be enough this season.
  3. Bottom line is, we may as well put no seats in the stand for what they're worth. The stand isn't being built primarily for that reason, it's being done for the additional income generated by having other facilities. Although, we can't even fill the "o2 business suite" as it is.
  4. One who actually looked like scoring most games last season...
  5. But, much needed investment. Still, Corney will keep the "Stability" only it's been far from stable at Latics since Blitz walked out.
  6. Also said in his post-match interview that he knew we were physically depleted. Inferred that he knew that we had no :censored:ing chance on the night. Not good enough. Stick the youth team out if our experience is knackered or don't want to play. I'd rather go down fighting with 16 year-old's leading the line than have Korey Smith waving the white flag, with his sideways and backwards passing. Had enough.
  7. The phrase 'Cup Cash' reminded me of a certain Mr Koukash... Oh what could have been...
  8. LJ should stick some quotes from OWTB tonight on the dressing room door, tell the players to prove us lot wrong. Totally unacceptable, makes me question why I spend £20 a time on it any more.
  9. Only positive of Wes is that he does battle on the field. Smith, well I can't say one good thing he did tonight or in the last few games he's played, to be honest. But, he's captain so ruled out of criticism...
  10. Smith has been :censored: since January, at least. Makes me wonder if rejecting a deal on deadline day has anything to do with it. He no longer seems to have the desire to play as he did before Christmas time. He was our best player, a glimmer of hope in an otherwise average set up before then. Now, i'd rather not have him in the team if he's not going to lead and he's going to pass it sideways or backwards all the time. Brutal, but honest.
  11. Our biggest chance of Wembley might also be the FA Trophy in a few years. The wheels of decline and are well and truly in motion, with all managers from Penney unable to stabilise them.
  12. On another note, did any Rotherham fans get locked out tonight? Other side of the RRE looked full to the brim!
  13. Sheffield United will put double figures past us in the form they're in. Unstoppable at the moment.
  14. Do we need another day where we'll be re-indoctrinated back into the masterplan of Johnson and Corney?
  15. They'll be decent players in League 2, though.
  16. We had Philliskirk in charge, he made me half confident that we'd stay up. Johnson in charge, who knows? I question why the :censored: he got the job anymore. Funny how 90 Minutes can change an opinion from confident to less than.
  17. 2003/2004 was a worse team in terms of quality on the field. But, they bettered themselves with the heart, desire and will to win a football game. This team, has none of that.
  18. Totally agree mate. Turner also looks like he COULD do the business, but he'll never get service in that team, too busy playing with Oxley.
  19. Looked like he might have picked up a knock. Don't quote me on that though...
  20. We've got no urgency, We've got no urgency, We've got no urgency, We've got no urgency. Sing to fade.
  21. We're going down. Who's going to save us? Johnson should dust off his boots and show the bunch of pricks how it's done...
  22. He did, but who's :censored:ing idea was it to send a long ball up every frigging time. Jesus Christ. Kissock and Turner looked alright. Mellor :censored:ing :censored:e, as were the rest of them. Wes battled as much as he could, but was even below par.
  23. I was confident until tonight. Team of :censored:bags with no desire, urgency or will to even go forward in a game, nevermind try and :censored:ing win it. Absolute :censored:ing disgrace from pretty much everyone on that field tonight.
  24. That was a joke from me, Ryan. Have what you want made, it can't get criticised as badly as the 'Born in Oldham, Live in Oldham, Die in Oldham' (something along those lines) one. You'll never beat the old massive flag though, unfortunately!
  25. It was good around 2006ish when the Chaddy was packed out and we all got involved. Missed Saturday so i'll pass my judgement on tonight, if it's there
